Takuma Inoue

Takuma Inoue is a Professional boxer from Japan, and he deserves an honorable mention. He has a record of 16 wins and 1 loss and is the former WBC interim bantamweight champion.




Ryosuke Iwasa

Ryosuke Iwasa is also a talented boxer from Japan, with a record of 27-4. Most notably, Iwasa is the former IBF super-bantamweight champion, and also held the interim title He challenged the unified champ, Murodjon Akhmadaliev in his most recent fight, however, he got stopped in the 5th round.

10. Luis Nery

Luis Nery is a Mexican professional boxer, and he has a record of 32 wins and 1 loss.

Nery has held multiple world titles in two weight classes. He is the former WBC super bantamweight champion and has also held the unified WBC and Ring magazine bantamweight titles. 

In his most recent fight, he defeated Carlos Castro and his next fight has not been announced yet.



 

9. Marlon Tapales

Marlon Tapales is a Filipino professional boxer, and he has a record of 36 wins and 3 losses. 

Tapales is the former WBO bantamweight world champion, and he has also fought Ryosuke Iwasa for the IBF interim super bantamweight title, but could not win. 

In his most recent fight, Tapales defeated Hiroaki Teshigawara via 2nd round TKO, and his next fight has not been announced yet.




8. Ronny Rios

Ronny Rios is an American professional boxer, and he has a record of 33 wins and 3 losses. 

He has won multiple regional titles including the  WBA Gold, and  WBC Continental Americas super bantamweight titles. He also challenged Rey Vargas for the WBC super bantamweight but came in short. 

In his last fight, he defeated Oscar Negrete via a unanimous decision, and for his next fight, he will challenge Murodjon Akhmadaliev on 25th June.




7. Azat Hovhannisyan

Azat Hovhannisyan is an Armenian professional boxer, with a record of 20 wins and 3 losses.

He hasn’t won any international world titles but did challenge Rey Vargas for the WBC super-bantamweight title back in 2018, and has previously held the WBC Continental Americas super-bantamweight title.

In his last fight, Hovhannisyan defeated Jose Santos Gonzalez via Unanimous decision, and there is no announcement about his next fight.




6. Ra'eese Aleem

Ra'eese Aleem is an American professional boxer with an undefeated boxing record of 19-0.

Aleem is a former WBA interim super-bantamweight champion, and he won the title in January of 2021 after defeating Vic Pasillas in his most recent fight.

In his most recent fight, Aleem defeated Eduardo Baez, and as of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight.




5. Angelo Leo

Angelo Leo is an American professional boxer. He has an impressive record of 21 victories and one defeat.

Leo won the WBO super-bantamweight title in August of 2020, after defeating Tramaine Williams via UD. However, Leo didn't hold the title for long and lost it to Stephen Fulton in his next fight. He is also a former WBO junior featherweight champion.

In his most recent fight, he defeated Aarón Alameda via Majority Decision, and as of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight.




4. Brandon Figueroa

Brandon Figueroa is a professional boxer from the USA, and he currently has a record of 22-1 with 1 draw.

Figueroa is the former WBC, and WBA (regular) super-bantamweight champion. He won the WBA interim super bantamweight title in 2019, defended it once, and was promoted to WBA (regular) champion. He won the WBC title after defeating Luis Nery.

In his most recent fight, Figueroa faced Stephen Fulton however, he lost via Majority decision.




3. Daniel Roman

Daniel Roman is an American professional boxer, with a record of 29 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw.

He is the former unified super bantamweight champion, having held the WBA, and IBF titles from 2019 to January 2020, when he lost his titles to Murodjon Akhmadaliev.

Last weekend, he challenged Stephen Fulton for his unified titles, however, he decisively lost the fight via unanimous decision. There is no announcement about his next fight yet.




2. Murodjon Akhmadaliev

  • IBF Super Bantamweight Champion

Murodjon Akhmadaliev is a professional boxer from Uzbekistan, and he has an undefeated record of 10-0.

Akhmadaliev is the current Unified WBO (super) and IBF Super-bantamweight champion of the world. He won his titles in January of last year after defeating Daniel Roman and has since defended his belts twice.

He defeated Jose Velasquez in his last fight and is scheduled to defend his titles against Ronny Rios on 25th June.

Stephen Fulton is an American boxer, and he has an undefeated record of 21 wins and no losses and has also held multiple world titles.

Fulton is the current unified WBC and WBO super bantamweight champion. He also held the IBO super bantamweight title back in 2019.

Last weekend, Fulton defended his unified titles against Daniel Roman. The fight was largely one-sided, as Fulton outboxed Roman and won a wide Unanimous Decision. There is no announcement about his next fight. However, he did call out Murodjon Akhmadaliev.
