Janibek Alimkhanuly becomes unified champion and more in the Middleweight Boxing Rankings.

Ryota Murata

Ryota Murata is an incredible Japanese boxer with a record of 16 wins and 3 losses with 13 KO victories. 

He is the former two-time WBA (regular) middleweight champion, with two combined defenses. In his most recent fight, he challenged GGG in a title unification bout, and though he had success in the early rounds, he lost the fight in the 9th via TKO. He deserves an honorable mention on the Middleweight Boxing Rankings list.

Sergiy Derevyanchenko is a professional boxer from Ukraine, and he has a record of 14 wins and only 4 losses. 

Derevyanchenko has challenged for world titles multiple times, but has not won one yet. He fought Jermall Charlo for the WBC Middleweight title, and Gennady Golovkin as well, but lost both times. 

In his most recent fight, he lost against Jaime Munguía for the vacant WBC Silver Super Middleweight Title. His next fight has not been announced yet.

10. Michael Zerafa

Opening at the Middleweight Boxing Rankings list is Michael Zerafa. Zerafa is a professional boxer from Australia, and he has a record of 31 wins and 4 losses. 

Zerafa has held multiple regional titles including the WBA Oceania and WBO Oriental titles at middleweight. He is also the former  Commonwealth light middleweight champion. 

In his most recent fight, he defeated Danilo Creati via Unanimous Decision, and his next fight has not been announced yet. 

9. Felix Cash

Felix Cash is an undefeated professional boxer from England, and he has a record of 16 wins and no losses. 

He is the former WBC International Silver middleweight champion and held the British and Commonwealth middleweight titles as well. He also won the WBC International middleweight title after defeating Magomed Madiev recently. 

In his most recent fight, he defeated Celso Neves. As of now, there has yet to be an official announcement about his next fight.

8. Vincenzo Gualtieri

Vincenzo Gualtieri is a German professional boxer with a record of 21 wins and only 1 loss, with 1 draw. 

He is the former IBF Middleweight world champion and won the title earlier this year after defeating Esquiva Falcão. He has also held multiple regional titles including the IBF Inter-Continental and IBO Continental middleweight titles. 

Last weekend, he lost the IBF title to Janibek Alimkhanuly via TKO. Alimkhanuly was in control for most of the fight, and got the TKO in the 6th round.

7. Chris Eubank Jr.

Chris “Next Gen” Eubank is a British boxer with a record of 33 wins and only 3 losses, with 24 knockouts. 

He is the former WBA interim middleweight champion and a two-time IBO super-middleweight champion. He has several impressive wins in the middleweight division. 

In his most recent fight, he defeated Liam Smith via 10th round TKO, and there is no official announcement about his next fight.

6. Erislandy Lara

Erislandy Lara is a Cuban American boxer, with a professional record of 29 wins, 3 losses, and 3 draws. 

He is also the current WBA (Super) middleweight champion. He is a very accomplished boxer at light-middleweight as well, where he fought for most of his career. 

In his most recent fight, he defended his title against Gary O’Sullivan, and his next fight is not scheduled yet.

5. Jermall Charlo

  • WBC Middleweight World Champion

Now we are in the Top 5 of the Middleweight Boxing Rankings. Jermall Charlo has an undefeated professional record of 32 wins and 0 losses, with 22 KOs.

He is the former IBF junior middleweight champion, and he currently holds the WBC middleweight world title as well, which he has already defended 4 times. 

His most recent win came against Juan Macias Montiel, in a completely one-sided bout, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

4. Carlos Adames

Carlos Adames is a Dominican professional boxer, with a record of 23 wins and 1 loss. 

Adames is the current WBC interim middleweight world champion. He has won multiple regional titles at light-middleweight and fought for the WBO interim light middleweight title as well. 

In his most recent fight, he defended his title against Julian Williams, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

3. Jaime Munguia

Jaime Munguia is a Mexican boxer, and he has an undefeated record of 42 wins and no losses.

Munguia is the former WBO light-middleweight champion, a title which he defended 5 times before moving to middleweight, where he has held the WBO Inter-Continental title. 

In his most recent fight, he defeated Sergiy Derevyanchenko at super middleweight and won the vacant WBC Silver super middleweight title as well. His next fight has not been announced yet.

2. Gennadiy Golovkin

  • IBO Middleweight World Champion

Gennady Golovkin is a professional boxer from Kazakhstan. GGG has an impressive record of 42 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw.

Golovkin is a two-time middleweight champion. He is the former unified WBA (super), IBF, and IBO middleweight champion, and previously also held the unified WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, and IBO middleweight titles. 

In his most recent fight, he moved up to super middleweight to face his long-term rival Canelo Alveraz. He lost the fight via unanimous decision, and as of now, there is no information on whether he will continue to box or retire. For now, he remains in our rankings.

Fighting out of Kazakhstan, Janibek Alimkhanuly is an undefeated boxer with a record of 15 wins and 0 losses. 

Janibek Alimkhanuly is the current unified WBO and IBF middleweight world champion, and he has held multiple regional titles as well. He won the Vacant WBO title after defeating Danny Dignum via Knockout, and has already defended it twice. 

Alimkhanuly won the IBF title last weekend after defeating Vincenzo Gualtieri. He has a dominant performance, winning by TKO in the 6th round.
