Ruben Villa is an American professional boxer, who has a record of 19 wins and only 1 loss. 

Villa is the former WBO International featherweight champion, and he also challenged Emanuel Navarrete for the WBO Featherweight world title but lost. Villa has held the WBO Youth featherweight title as well. 

In his most recent fight, he defeated Horacio García, and his next fight has not been announced yet.



 

Kid Galahad

Kid Galahad is a very popular British professional boxer, and currently, he holds a record of 28 wins and 2 losses 

Most notably, He has held the European, British, and Commonwealth super-bantamweight titles between 2013 and 2015. He now fights at featherweight where he became the IBF Featherweight world champion after defeating Jazza Dickens.

In his most recent fight, he lost the title to Kiko Martínez and his next fight has not been announced yet.

 

 

 

Leo Santa Cruz

Leo Santa Cruz is a Mexican professional boxer with a record of 38 wins and 2 losses and 1 draw. 

He has held world titles in four different weight classes and is the current WBA (super) featherweight champion. However, he hasn't defended his title for quite a while, as he moved up to super featherweight to fight Gervonta Davis for his WBA titles. However, he lost the fight. 

His most recent fight was not a title defense either, however, he did win the fight against Keenan Carbajal via Unanimous Decision.

In his most recent fight, he faced Luis Lopez Vargas and lost his IBF title. He took a hard shot in the first round, which made his nose bleed, and couldn't do much in the following rounds. Though he had some success in the late rounds, he couldn't do enough to convince the judges.

Vargas is the current IBF featherweight world champion and has previously also held the WBO International featherweight title. 

Last weekend, Vargas fought Josh Warrington for the IBF title and won the fight via Majority Decision. He had a good start and hurt Warrington in the first round. Warrington did come back in the later rounds, but couldn't do enough.

 

 

 

5. Leigh Wood

Leigh Wood is a British professional boxer, and he has a record of 26 wins and 2 losses.

Leigh Wood is the current WBA (Regular) featherweight champion and won the title after defeating Xu Can. At the regional level, he has also the British and Commonwealth featherweight titles

In his most recent fight, which was earlier this month, he defeated Michael Conlan via TKO, and there is no announcement about his next fight yet.

 

 

 

4. Mauricio Lara

Mauricio Lara is a Mexican professional boxer. He has a record of 25 wins, 2 losses, and 1 Draw.

Though Lara hasn't held a world title yet, he made it into the rankings after defeating Josh Warrington. He then had a rematch against Warrington, which ended in a technical draw, after the fight had to be stopped because of an accidental head clash that cut open Lara's head. 

In his most recent fight, Lara defeated José Sanmartin, and there is no announcement about his next fight yet.

 

 

 

3. Mark Magsayo

Magsayo is a Filipino professional boxer with a professional record of 24 wins and 1 loss. Magsayo is the former WBC Featherweight world champion and won the title after defeating Gary Russell jr. He is also a 2-time WBO International featherweight champion.

However, in his most recent fight, he lost the WBO title to Rey Vargas. The fight was very competitive, and Magsayo even scored a knockdown in the 9th round, however, Vargas had momentum on his side, and decisively won more rounds than Magsayo, which got him the split decision win.

 

 

 

2. Rey Vargas

Rey Vargas. Is a professional boxer from Mexico, and he has an undefeated professional record of 36 wins and no losses. 

Vargas is the current WBC Featherweight world champion. He previously held the WBC Super-bantamweight title as well and defended it 5 times before moving up to featherweight. 

He won the Featherweight title in his most recent fight after defeating Mark Magsayo via Split decision. Vargas had good momentum between rounds 3 and 8, and he won the championship rounds as well. He got dropped in the 9th but had done enough to win the decision.

For his next fight, he will be facing O'Shanique Foster for the vacant WBC super featherweight title.

 

1. Emanuel Navarrete

Emanuel Navarrete is a Mexican professional boxer with a record of 35 wins and one loss. Navarrete has held titles in two different weight classes.

Navarrete has held titles in two different weight classes. He is the current WBO featherweight champion and also held the WBO junior featherweight title defending it five times.

Last weekend, he defended his title Eduardo Baez and won the fight via Knockout in the 6th round. Though Navarrete had a slow start and was behind on the scorecards by the 6th, he landed a brutal body shot on Baez, which forced him to take a knee.

He is scheduled to fight Liam Wilson on February 3rd, 2023.
