Guillermo Rigondeaux

The Cuban legend Guillermo Rigondeaux has a record of 20 wins, 2 losses, and 1 no-contest, and is a two-weight world champion. He doesn't make it in our rankings but deserves an honorable mention.




Alejandro Santiago

Alejandro Santiago is another talented boxer in the bantamweight division who is moving up. He is the former international WBC Bantamweight champion.




Ryosuke Nishida

Ryosuke Nishida is an exciting up-and-coming boxer who deserves an honorable mention as well.

Reymart Gaballo is a Filipino professional boxer with a professional record of 24 wins and 1 loss.

He is the former WBC and WBA interim bantamweight champion and has wins over some of the best fighters in the bantamweight division. 

In his most recent fight, Gaballo fought Nonito Donaire for the WBC Bantamweight title, however, he lost the fight via 4th round KO.




9. Gary Antonio Russell

Gary Antonio Russell is a professional boxer from the USA. He has a record of 19 victories and 1 loss,  with 1 no-contest. 

Russel has not won any world titles yet, he has wins over some of the top fighters in the division. Before his most recent loss, he was on an impressive win streak. 

In his most recent fight, Gary Antonio Russell lost to Emmanuel Rodríguez, and there is no announcement about his next fight.




8. Paul Butler

Paul Butler is a professional boxer from England, who has a record of 34 wins and 3 losses. 

Buttler is the former IBF bantamweight champion and has held multiple regional titles in different weight classes. Butler also held the WBO interim Bantamweight title before losing his most recent fight. 

Last weekend, Butler fought Naoya Inoue, with the undisputed  Bantamweight title on the line, the fight was mostly one-sided and Naoya Inoue won via KO in the 11th round.




7. Lee McGregor

Lee McGregor is an undefeated Scottish boxer with a record of 12 wins, no losses, and 1 draw. 

Though he hasn't won a world title, yet, he has held multiple regional titles including the European, British, and Commonwealth bantamweight titles. Lee McGregor is also the former IBF youth bantamweight champion. 

In his most recent fight, Lee McGregor fought Diego Alberto Ruiz. The fight ended in a draw. As of now, there is no announcement about McGregor’s next fight.




6. Vincent Astrolabio

Vincent Astrolabio is a professional boxer from the Philippines. He has a professional record of 18 wins and 3 losses. 

Astrolabio is the current WBO Inter-Continental Bantamweight world champion and has also held the WBC International Bantamweight title, which he won after defeating Guillermo Rigondeaux. 

In his most recent fight, Astrolabio defeated Nikolai Potapov, and his next fight has not been announced yet.




5. John Riel Casimero

John Riel Casimero is a professional boxer from the Philippines. With a record of 32 wins and 4 losses, he has held world titles in three different weight classes.

Casimero is the former WBO bantamweight champion. He has also held the IBF junior flyweight and the IBF flyweight title, and also won interim titles in both divisions. 

In his most recent fight, he defeated Ryo Akaho. His next fight has not been announced yet.

Nonito Donaire is a Filipino-American professional boxer with a record of 42-7. Donaire has held multiple titles in four different weight classes. 

These include the  IBF and IBO flyweight titles, interim WBA super flyweight titles, WBC and WBO bantamweight titles, the WBO super bantamweight title, and the WBA (Undisputed) featherweight titles. Donaire is also the former WBC Bantamweight world champion. 

In his most recent fight, Donaire fought Naoya Inoue. He lost the fight via 2nd round TKO, and there is no announcement about his next fight.




3. Jason Moloney

Jason Moloney is an Australian Professional boxer, with a record of 25 wins and only 2 defeats. 

Moloney has held multiple regional titles including the  WBC Silver, WBO International, and WBA Oceania bantamweight titles. He challenged the current champion, Naoya Inoue for his unified titles in 2020, however, he came short. 

In his most recent fight, Molony defeated Nawaphon Kaikanha, and his next fight has not been announced yet.




2. Emmanuel Rodriguez

Emmanuel Rodriguez is from Puerto Rico and he has a professional boxing record of 21 wins, 2 losses, and 1 no-contest

Rodriguez is the former IBF bantamweight champion. He won the title after defeating Paul Butler in 2018. He defended the title once, before losing it to Naoya Inoue the next year. Rodriguez also challenged Reymart Gaballo for the WBC interim bantamweight title but lost a split decision. 

He won his most recent fight Rodreguez defeated Gary Antonio Russell and there is no official announcement about his next fight.

Naoya Inoue is a Japanese boxer with an undefeated record of 24 wins and no losses. 

Inoue is the current Undisputed bantamweight world champion, holding the unified WBA (Super), WBC, WBO, IBF, and The Ring bantamweight titles. He has also held WBC light-flyweight title, and the WBO junior bantamweight title, which he defended 7 times

Last weekend, Inoue Defeated Paul Butler via 11th-round KO to win the WBO bantamweight title. He was ahead on the scorecards and was able to dominate most of the fight for a flawless victory. As of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight.
