Liam Smith is a British Boxer with a record of 31 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw. He is also the former WBO light-middleweight champion and is ranked number nine among active Super Welterweight boxers by BoxRec.




Michel Soro 

Michel Soro is a French professional boxer, with a record of 35 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw. He was the former European middleweight and international title, he also deserves an honorable mention.




Top 10 Super Welterweight Boxers

10. Israil Madrimov

Israil Madrimov is a professional boxer from Uzbekistan, and he has an undefeated record of 8 wins and 0 losses. 

Madrimov is the former WBA Inter-Continental super-welterweight champion and won the title back in 2018 in his first professional fight. He has defended the title twice. In his most recent fight, Madrimov defeated Michel Soro, and there is no announcement about his next fight.




9. Magomed Kurbanov

Magomed Kurbanov is a professional boxer from Russia. He has an undefeated professional record of 22 wins and no losses. 

Though he hasn't won a world title yet, he is a two-time, and the current, WBO International light middleweight champion and has also held the WBO Intercontinental light middleweight title. As an amateur, he won a gold medal at the 2008 Youth World Championships.

His last fight was against Liam Smith which he won via UD, and his next fight has not been announced yet.




8. Tony Harrison

Tony Harrison is an excellent fighter from the US, he has a professional record of 29 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw. 

Harrison is a former WBC light middleweight champion, and he held the title from 2018 to 2019. He was also challenged for the IBF light middleweight title in 2017 but lost. 

In his most recent fight, he faced Sergio García, and defeated him to become the WBC Silver light middleweight champion. There is no announcement about his next fight.




7. Tim Tszyu

The next boxer on our list is from Australia. Tim Tszyu is an undefeated professional fighter with a record of 21 wins and no losses. 

Tim Tszyu has held multiple regional titles, including the Australian light-middleweight title and the Commonwealth light-middleweight title as well. He is also the current WBO Global light-middleweight champion, and in his most recent fight defended the title against Terrell Gausha. 

His next fight has not been announced yet.




6. Erickson Lubin

The next boxer on our list is also from the US, Erickson Lubin is a boxer with a professional record of 24 wins and 2 losses. 

Lubin challenged Jermell Charlo for the WBC super welterweight title in 2017 but lost the fight. He held the WBC Silver super welterweight championship, and defended it against Jeison Rosario, before fighting Sebastian Fundora for the interim super welterweight title in his most recent fight. However, he could not get the win. 

Lubin's next fight has not been announced yet.




5. Sebastian Fundora

Sebastian Fundora is an American Professional boxer with an undefeated record of 19 wins and no losses. 

He is the current WBC interim light middleweight champion and has previously held the WBC Youth light middleweight title as well. In his most recent fight, he defeated Erickson Lubin to become the WBC interim champion.

As of now, there is no announcement about his next opponent.




4. Erislandy Lara

Erislandy Lara is a Cuban-American boxer with a professional record of 28 wins, 3 losses, and 3 draws. 

Erislandy Lara is a two-weight world champion. 

He is the current unified, IBO, and WBA (Regular) middleweight champion, and has previously held the same titles at super welterweight as well. In his most recent fight, he defeated Thomas LaManna and won the vacant WBA (Regular) middleweight title

His next fight is scheduled against Gary O'Sullivan on 28th May.




3. Jarrett Hurd

At number 3, we have Jarrett Hurd. The American Professional Boxer has a record of 24 wins and 2 losses. 

Hurd is a former unified super welterweight world champion. He defeated Tony Harrison in 2017 to win the vacant BF light middleweight title, after defending it once, he fought Erislandy Lara and won the WBA (Super) and IBO light middleweight titles as well. 

He lost his most recent fight, which was against Luis Arias, and there is no official announcement about his next fight.




2. Brian Castaño

Brian Castaño is a boxer from Argentina, and he has a professional record of 17 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw. 

Castaño is the former WBO light-middleweight champion. He won the title in February of 2021 and held the title last weekend when he lost it in a rematch against Jermell Charlo. Castaño also held the WBA (Regular) light middleweight title between 2018 and 2019.

Last weekend, after a competitive back and forth fight, Castaño got hit with a solid punch by  Charlo. He did manage to get up before the count, but his legs were not underneath him and the referee had to call the fight.

At the top of the list, we have Jermell Charlo. The American professional boxer has a record of 35 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw. He is also the current undisputed light-middleweight champion of the world. 

He currently holds the unified WBA (Super), WBC, WBO, IBF, and The Ring light middleweight titles, and has many impressive wins in the division. In his most recent fight, which was last weekend, Charlo defeated Brian Castaño via 10th round KO and added the WBO light-middleweight title to his resume.

The fight was very competitive with both fighters having their moments. However, with one well-placed shot in the 10th round. Charlo took the fight.
