Honorable Mention

Abass Baraou

Abass Baraou is another German boxer who deserves an honorable mention. He has a record of 13 wins and 1 loss, and is coming off a win against Brian Damian Chaves in his most recent fight, in which he won the  IBO Continental super-welterweight title.

Brian Castaño

Brian Castaño is a boxer from Argentina, and he has a professional record of 17 wins, 1 loss, and 2 draws. 

Castaño is the former WBO light-middleweight champion. He won the title in February of 2021 after defeating Patrick Teixeira and lost it in a rematch against Jermell Charlo. Castaño also held the WBA (Regular) light middleweight title between 2018 and 2019.

He lost to Jermell Charlo in his most recent fight, and there is no announcement about his next fight yet. His inactivity knocks him down to Honorable Mention in the Super Welterweight Boxers – World Rankings.

Jack Culcay is an  Ecuadorian-born German professional boxer, and he has a record of 33 wins and 4 losses. 

Culcay is the former WBO International light-middleweight champion, and he has also held the IBF International middleweight title. 

In his most recent fight, he knocked out Juan Adrian Monzon, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

9. Israil Madrimov

Israil Madrimov is a professional boxer from Uzbekistan, and he has an undefeated record of 8 wins,0 losses, and 1 draw 

Madrimov is the former WBO Inter-Continental super-welterweight champion and won the title back in 2018 in his first professional fight. He has defended the title twice. 

His most recent fight was a rematch against Michel Soro, however, the fight was scored as a technical draw after a clash of heads left Soro unable to continue

8. Tony Harrison

Tony Harrison is a Professional Boxer from the US, and he has a record of 29 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw. 

Harrison is a former WBC light middleweight champion. He won the title after defeating Jermell Charlo; however, he lost the title in an immediate rematch. Harrison also fought for the IBF light middleweight title in 2017 but lost. 

In his most recent fight, he lost to Tim Tszyu. There is no announcement about his next fight yet.

7. Erickson Lubin

The next boxer on our list is from the US, Erickson Lubin is a boxer with a professional record of 26 wins and 2 losses. 

Lubin is the current WBC Diamond Super Welterweight champion. He also challenged Jermell Charlo for the WBC super welterweight title in 2017 but lost the fight, and has previously held the WBC Silver super welterweight championship. 

In his most recent fight, Lubin defeated Jesus Ramos, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

6. Liam Smith

Liam Smith is a British Boxer with a record of 33 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw. 

He is the former WBO light-middleweight champion and has held multiple regional titles over the course of his career as well. He is the former WBO Inter-Continental and WBA International light-middleweight champion. 

In his most recent fight, Smith lost to Chris Eubank Jr, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

5. Sebastian Fundora

Sebastian Fundora is an American Professional boxer with a record of 20 wins and 1 loss. 

He is the former WBC Light Middleweight Champion and has previously held the WBC Youth light middleweight title as well. He defended his interim title against Carlos Ocampo and won the fight via Unanimous Decision. Both boxers were well-matched and fought at a high pace, however, Fundora was just better at every turn.

In his most recent fight, Fundora faced Brian Mendoza for the WBC Super Welterweight Interim Championship. Mendoza shocked Fundora by knocking him out in the seventh round. There is no announcement on his next fight.

4. Magomed Kurbanov

Magomed Kurbanov is a professional boxer from Russia. He has an undefeated professional record of 25 wins and no losses. 

Though he hasn’t won a world title yet, he is a two-time WBO International light middleweight champion and has also held the WBO Intercontinental light middleweight title. As an amateur, he won a gold medal at the 2008 Youth World Championships.

In his most recent fight, he defeated Johan Gonzalez, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

3. Brian Mendoza

Brian Mendoza is an American Professional boxer with a record of 22 wins and 2 losses. He is the current WBC Super Welterweight Interim Champion.

To win the WBC Super Welterweight Interim Championship, Mendoza faced former undefeated boxer Sebastian Fundora who Mendoza entered as a heavy underdog. Fundora was leading towards a decision win before Mendoza delivered a rocking left hook that started off the knockout of Fundora.

Recently, Mendoza lost to Tim Tszyu challenging him for the current WBO Junior Middleweight Title. He lost by unanimous decision. There is no announcement for his next fight.

2. Tim Tszyu

Tim Tszyu is an undefeated professional boxer from Australia, and he has a record of 24 wins and no losses. 

Tim Tszyu is the current WBO junior middleweight champion and has won multiple regional titles as well, including the Australian and Commonwealth light-middleweight titles

Last weekend, he made his first title defense after being promoted to world champion from the Interim title. He defeated Brian Mendoza via Unanimous decision, in a largely dominant performance. His next fight has not been announced yet.

Jermell Charlo is an American professional boxer, and he has a record of 35 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw. 

Charlo is the former undisputed light-middleweight champion of the world. He currently holds the unified WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, and The Ring light middleweight titles, and has many impressive wins in the division.

In his most recent fight, Charlo moved up to super middleweight to challenge Canelo Alvarez for his undisputed title, however, he lost the fight. As of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight.
