The Undisputed king at Super Bantamweight made another impressive title defense against Luis Nery last weekend and stays on the Super Bantamweight throne. So, here is a look at our updated Super Bantamweight Boxing Rankings, but first, here are some honorable mentions.

10. Elijah Pierce

Elijah Pierce is a professional boxer from the USA, and he has a record of 19 wins and 2 losses.  

He hasn’t had any title shots yet, however, he made it to the top 10 after defeating Mike Plania via third-round knockout. In his most recent fight, he defeated Arthur Villanueva via 4th round TKO to further cement his position in the top 10

There is no information about his next opponent as of now.

9. TJ Doheny

TJ Doheny is a professional boxer from Ireland, and he has a record of 26 wins and 4 losses. 

He is the former  IBF super-bantamweight world champion and currently holds the WBO Asia Pacific super-bantamweight title as well. 

Last weekend, he defeated Bryl Bayogos via TKO, and there is no announcement about his next fight.

8. Ra’eese Aleem

Ra’eese Aleem is an American professional boxer with a boxing record of 20 wins and 1 loss

Aleem is a former WBA interim super bantamweight champion, and he won the title in January of 2021 after defeating Vic Pasillas. He also held the Retained NABO super bantamweight title. 

In his most recent fight, Aleem lost to Sam Goodman, and as of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight.

7. Liam Davies

Fighting out of England, Liam Davies makes it in at Number 7 on our list. He is an undefeated boxer with 16 wins on his record. 

Davies is the current IBO Super Bantamweight world champion, and has held multiple regional titles including the British and European Super Bantamweight titles. 

In his most recent fight, Davies defeated Erik Robles Ayala via 2nd round TKO, and there is no official announcement about his next fight.

6. Luis Nery

Luis Nery is a Mexican professional boxer, and he has a record of 35 wins and 1 loss

Nery has held multiple world titles in two weight classes. He is the former WBC super bantamweight champion and has also held the unified WBC and Ring magazine bantamweight titles. 

In his most recent fight, he got an opportunity to fight Naoya Inoue for the undisputed bantamweight title, however, he could not dethrone The Monster, and lost via TKO in the 6th round.

5. Sam Goodman

Sam Goodman is a professional boxer from Australia, and he has a record of 18 wins and 0 losses.

With four impressive wins in 2023, Goodman has made his way into the top 10 at Super Bantamweight. He also won the IBF Inter-Continental and WBO Oriental Super Bantamweight titles earlier this year. 

He defeated Zhong Liu via Unanimous Decision, and also started this year with an impressive TKO win over Mark Schleibs and secured his position in the top 10.

4. Marlon Tapales

Marlon Tapales is a Filipino professional boxer, and he has a record of 37  wins and 4 losses. 

He is the former unified WBA (Super), and IBF Super-bantamweight world champion and has previously held the WBO bantamweight title as well.

Tapales defeated Murodjon Akhmadaliev in a huge upset winning by slit decision. Tapales won the first 8 rounds throwing and landing more. Akhmadaliev tried to come back late but it was not enough.

He lost the titles to Naoya Inoue in his most recent fight, a devastating fight that was mostly dominated by Inoue.

3. Murodjon Akhmadaliev

Murodjon Akhmadaliev is a professional boxer from Uzbekistan, and he has a record of 12 wins and 1 loss.

Akhmadaliev is the former Unified WBA (super) and IBF Super-bantamweight world champion. He won his titles in 2020 and made three successful title defenses before losing the title to Marlon Tapales.

In his most recent fight, he came back with a solid TKO win against Kevin Gonzalez, and as of now, there is no announcement about his next fight. 

2. Stephen Fulton

Stephen Fulton is an American boxer, and he has a record of 21 wins and 1 loss and has also held multiple world titles.

Fulton has held multiple world titles at super bantamweight. Until last weekend, he was the unified WBC and WBO super bantamweight champion and held the IBO super bantamweight title back in 2019 as well.

He faced Daniel Roman in a largely one-sided fight. Fulton outboxed Roman and won a wide Unanimous Decision.

Roman lost his title to Naoya Inoue. He got knocked down with a brutal left hook in the 11th round. Though he got back up, he took a lot of unanswered shots afterward, causing the referee to stop the fight.

Naoya Inoue is a Japanese boxer with an undefeated record of 27 wins and no losses.

Inoue is a 4-division world champion. He is the current unified WBC and WBO super bantamweight champion and has previously held the undisputed title at bantamweight as well. He has held world titles at junior bantamweight and light flyweight as well. 

Inoue defeated Stephen Fulton to win the Super bantamweight title. He won the fight via TKO in the 8th round, after landing a knockdown in the same round.

Then Inoue fought Marlon Tapales, with his unified WBC and WBO super-bantamweight titles, and Tapales’ WBA (Super), IBF, and vacant The Ring titles on the line. He won the fight with a dominant performance, knocking  Tapales twice before getting the KO win in the 10th round.

Recently, Inoue defended the undisputed and unified WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring super bantamweight titles for the first time against Luis Nery, winning the fight by an impressive 6th round Knockout coming back from a knockdown himself.
