William Zepeda is a Mexican professional boxer who deserves an honorable mention. He has a record of 26-0 and currently holds the WBC Continental Americas lightweight title.



Gustavo Daniel Lemos

Gustavo Daniel Lemos is also quite a talented fighter from Argentina. He has a record of 28-0 and has won multiple regional titles including the IBF Latino lightweight title, and the IBF Youth lightweight title.

10. Richard Commey

Richard Commey is a professional boxer from Ghana, and he has a record of 30 wins and 4 losses.

His first attempt at a world title at lightweight failed in 2016, however after about 3 years, he won the IBF Lightweight title defeating Isa Chaniev. However, he lost the title to Teofimo Lopez after only one defense.

In his most recent fight, Commey fought Vasyl Lomachenko, however, he could not win, and lost the fight via Unanimous Decision. As of now, there is no announcement about his next fight.




9. Javier Fortuna

Javier Fortuna is a Dominican professional boxer, and he has a record of 37 wins, 3 losses, 2 draws, and 1 no-contest.

Fortuna is the former WBA super featherweight champion, and won the title in 2015, after defeating Bryan Vasquez. At lightweight, he fought Robert Easter Jr. for the IBF Lightweight title, however, came short, losing by a split decision.

In his most recent fight, Fortuna defeated Rafael Hernandez via first-round KO, and he is scheduled to fight Ryan Garcia on the 16th of July.




8. Joseph Diaz

Joseph Diaz is a professional boxer from the USA and has a record of 32 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw.

Diaz is a former interim WBC lightweight champion, and he also held the IBF title at super featherweight before he moved up. In his most recent fight, Diaz fought Devin Haney for the WBC lightweight title, however, he lost the fight via Unanimous Decision.

There is no information about when or who Diaz will fight next.




7. Isaac Cruz

Isaac Cruz is a professional boxer from Mexico, and he has a record of 23 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw.

Lopez is the former Unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and The Ring lightweight champion. He won the titles after defeating Vasyl Lomachenko as a massive underdog, however, he lost the title to George Kambosos Jr. in his most recent fight.

Right now, there is no official announcement about who Teofimo Lopez will face next.




5. George Kambosos Jr.

George Kambosos Jr is an Australian boxer with a professional record of 20 wins and 1 loss.

Kambosos is the former unified WBA, WBO, IBF, and the Ring lightweight champion, and won the titles after defeating Teofemo Lopez last year. In his most recent fight, which was last weekend, George Kambosos fought Devin Haney, with his titles, and Haney's WBC title on the line. However, he lost the fight decisively via a Unanimous decision.

As of now, there is no information about who he will fight next.




4. Ryan Garcia

Ryan Garcia is an American boxer with an undefeated record of 22 wins and no losses.

Garcia is the former WBC interim lightweight champion. He won the title after defeating Luke Campbell back in January of 2021. Garcia has also held multiple regional titles, including the WBC silver lightweight title.

In his most recent fight, Garcia defeated Emmanuel Tagoe via unanimous decision, and now he is scheduled to fight Javier Fortuna on 16th July.




3. Gervonta Davis

Gervonta Davis is an American Boxer with an undefeated professional record of 27 wins and 0 losses.

Davis has held world titles in three different weight classes. He has held the WBA (Super) and IBF titles at super-featherweight, the WBA (Regular) Super Lightweight, and currently holds the WBA (Regular) Lightweight title as well.

In his most recent fight, Davis fought Rolando Romero and won the fight via 6th round TKO. There is no announcement about his next fight yet.




2. Vasyl Lomachenko

Vasyl Lomachenko is a Boxer from Ukraine. He has a professional boxing record of 16 wins and 2 losses.

Lomachenko has won world titles in three different world classes, and at lightweight, he held the unified WBA (Super), WBO, WBC, and The Ring lightweight titles. He lost the titles to Teofimo Lopez, however, since then, he has won his next two fights.

In his most recent fight, Lomachenko defeated Richard Commey, and there is no information about when he will fight next.

Before his last fight, Haney was the WBC lightweight champion. Last weekend, he fought George Kambosos, who held the unified WBA, WBO, IBF, and the Ring lightweight titles, and won via unanimous decision, becoming the first undisputed lightweight champion since Pernell Whitiker.

The fight was mostly one-sided, as Haney showed that he clearly was the more technical boxer. He easily outpointed and outboxed Kambosos, and won a decisive victory.
