We are updating the Heavyweight Boxing Rankings after the big Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou fight. Joseph Parker comes back and defeats Zhilei Zhang as well in the Knockout Chaos event. Before we get to the Top 10 Best Heavyweight Boxers – World Rankings here are some honorable mentions.
Honorable Mention
Dillian Whyte
Dillian Whyte is a former kickboxer and mixed martial artist from England and now has a professional boxing record of 28 wins and 3 losses.
Whyte is the former WBC interim heavyweight champion having held the title twice in his career, along with multiple regional titles. He has also secured wins over big names like Dereck Chisora, Robert Helenius, Lucas Browne, Joseph Parker, and Oscar Rivas.
In his most recent fight, Dillan Whyte fought Jermaine Franklin, and won the fight via Majority Decision.
Andy Ruiz Jr.
Andy Ruiz is a Mexican American Boxer, with a professional record of 35 wins and 2 losses.
Ruiz is the former unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion. He won the titles after fighting and defeating Anthony Joshua, in a short-notice fight. However, he lost the title in the rematch against Joshua.

His next fight is against Ryad Merhy on April 13th.
9. Joe Joyce
Joe Joyce is a British professional boxer, with an undefeated professional record of 15 wins and only 1 loss.
Joyce is the former WBO Interim world champion. He has also held multiple regional titles and won a silver medal in the 2016 olympics as well.
In his most recent fight, Joe Joyce faced Zhilei Zhang in a rematch for the Interim WBO title on the line. He lost the fight via KO again. His next fight is against Kash Ali on March 16th.
8. Daniel Dubois
Daniel Dubois is a professional boxer from the United Kingdom, and he has a record of 20 wins and 2 losses.
Dubois is the former WBA Heavyweight Champion. Daniel won the interim title against Bogdan Dinu back in 2021 by knockout. The title later turned into the official title and faced Oleksandr Usyk. Usyk defeated Dubois by knockout.
In his most recent fight, Dubois faced then undefeated boxer Jarrell Miller. Dubois defeated Miller by knockout in the 10th round. His next fight has not been announced yet
7. Deontay Wilder

Wilder is the former WBC Heavyweight champion and defended the title nine times, before losing it to Tyson Fury. He is one of the hardest-hitting heavyweight fighters, and 42 of his 43 wins have come by way of knockout.
Wilder had an amazing trilogy fight against Fury which the first fight ended in a draw, Fury winning the second and also the third.
In his most recent fight, Wilder lost to Joseph Parker by unanimous decision at he Day of Reckoning. Wilder was never able to connect with his power and Parker outboxed him throughout the match. As of now, he was supposed to face Anthony Joshua on March 9th but that fight may have failed through with this loss.
6. Zhilei Zhang
Zhilei Zhang is a professional boxer from China, and he has a record of 25 wins, 2 loss and 1 draw.
Zhang is the former WBO Interim Heavyweight world champion, and previously also held the WBO Oriental heavyweight title. He defeated Joe Joyce in a rematch via KO.
In his most recent fight, Zhang faced Joseph Parker and lost by majority decision. Zhang was able to knockdown Parker twice in the fight but was never able to capitalize. He let Parker comeback to win by decision losing his WBO Heavyweight Interim Title. As of now, his next fight has not been announced yet.
5. Joseph Parker

Joseph Parker is a professional boxer from New Zealand, and he has a record of 34 wins and 3 losses.
Parker is the current WBO Heavyweight Interim Champion. He previously won the WBO Heavyweight title back in 2017 after defeating Andy Ruiz Jr. He defended the title twice over the next year, before losing it to Anthony Joshua in 2018.
He upset Deontay Wilder by unanimous decision at the Day of Reckoning event. The fight started off slow but Parker was able to back up Wilder with a right hand and also avoiding Wilder’s powerful right hand. Parker was able to rock Wilder in the 8th round to complete the upset.
In his most recent fight, he defeated Zhilei Zhang by majority decision. Parker was able to overcome to knockdowns to comeback and win the WBO Interim Heavyweight Title. As of now, his next fight has not been announced yet.
4. Filip Hrgović
Filip Hrgović is a professional boxer from Croatia. He has an undefeated record of 17 wins and 0 losses.
Hrgović is the former WBC International heavyweight champion. He won the title in 2018 and defended it 5 times. He also held the IBF International heavyweight title and defended it twice.
In his most recent fight, Filip Hrgović defeated Mark De Mori in the Day of Reckoning event. Hrgović dominated De Mori in the first round and finished him by TKO. As of now, there is no announcement about his next fight.
3. Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is a British professional boxer with a record of 27 wins and 3 losses.
He is the former unified WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO world heavyweight champion, and has defended his titles against big names like Dillian Whyte, Wladimir Klitschko, Charles Martin, Joseph Parker, and Alexander Povetkin.
In his most recent fight, he defeated Otto Wallin via TKO in the fifth round. Joshua dominated Wallin throughout the fight where Wallin’s corner had to stop the fight in the fifth round.
Joshua faced Francis Ngannou recently won via a devastating knockout in the 2nd round. AJ was able to knockdown Ngannou twice before the final KO. There is no announcement regarding his next fight.
2. Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury is an undefeated heavyweight boxer from Britain, and he has a record of 33-0. Fury is also the current WBC Heavyweight champion of the world.
Fury also holds the title of Lineal Heavyweight champion, and back in 2015, he defeated Wladimir Klitschko to become the unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring heavyweight world champion.
In his most recent fight, Fury faced Francis Ngannou, and won by decision. Fury suffered a knockdown in the 3rd round and almost a knockdown in the 8th round. Fury survived both winning by points.
Fury’s next fight will be against Oleksandr Usyk to combine the major belts to become the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion on May 18th in Saudi Arabia.

Now at #1 on the Heavyweight Boxers list is Oleksandr Usyk. Usyk is an undefeated boxer from Ukraine, and he has a record of 21 wins and no losses.
Usyk is a two-weight unified world champion. He is the current unified WBO, WBA, IBF, IBO, and The Ring heavyweight world champion. He is also the former undisputed Cruiserweight champion
Last weekend, he defended his title against Daniel Dubois, winning the fight via Knockout in the 9th round. The fight sparked some controversy, regarding a low blow landed by Dubois in the fifth round, which put Usyk down. Where some fans and Dubois believed it was a legal blow, and should have ended the fight.
Still, Usyk outlanded Dubois every round and won the fight in the 9th. Usyk next fight will be against Tyson Fury to challenge to become the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion on May 18th in Saudi Arabia.
