Top 10 Up and Coming Boxers

10. Abdullah Mason

Division: Lightweight

Starting off the list, we have 19-year-old prospect, Abdullah Mason who caught our eye on the  undercard of Haney-Lomachenko, when he knocked out Erick Garcia Benitez in 92 seconds.

Mason has won twice since and has an undefeated record of 9 wins and 0 losses. He is scheduled to fight Cesar Villarraga on August 26th, and if his recent fights are any indication, he should have an impressive performance.

9. Marc Castro

Division: Super Featherweight

Marc Castro is an American Boxing Prospect competing in the super featherweight division. He is only 23 years old and is undefeated with a boxing record of 10 wins and 0 losses. Castro had an impressive Amateur career and won the 2016 Youth World Championship.

He also had his eyes set on competing in the 2020 Olympics but had to stay back because of some health problems. His most impressive win was on the Canelo-GGG 3 undercard when he knocked out Kevin Montiel Mendoza with a right uppercut.

8. Adam Azim

Division: Super Lightweight

Adam Azim is a British Boxer, with an undefeated record of 8 wins and 0 losses. He is only 20 years old and has already impressed fans and experts in Britain with his performances. Azim won the WBA Continental light-welterweight title in his most recent fight and has previously held the WBC Youth Intercontinental light-welterweight title as well.

The youngster doesn’t have much professional experience, but he has shown excellent boxing ability, speed and technique. His next fight is scheduled against Aram Fanyan for 2nd September, on the undercard of Liam Smith Vs Chris Eubank.

7. Otabek Kholmatov

Division: Featherweight

Otabek Kholmatov is a professional boxer from Uzbekistan. He is 25 years old and has an undefeated record, with 11 wins and no losses. Kholmatov has 10 knockout wins and is coming off an impressive win against Thomas Patrick Ward.

He is the Mandatory challenger for WBA featherweight champion Leigh Wood, and if that fight materializes, Kholmatov will have a chance to move from Prospect to champion in a very competitive division.

6. Raymond Ford

Division: Featherweight

Raymond Ford is another up and coming boxer in the Featherweight division. He is only 24 years old and has an undefeated record with 14 wins and 1 draw. Ford has held the WBA Continental Americas featherweight title and defended it 4 times.

Additionally, as an amateur, he won the 2018 Golden Gloves and has two National Championship Silver Medals. He is a fighter to keep your eye on, as he rises through the ranks, and should be getting some big fights in the near future.

5. Diego Pacheco

Division: Super Middleweight

Diego Pacheco is a 22-year-old American boxer, with an undefeated boxing record of 19 wins and 0 losses. Standing 6 feet and 4 inches tall, Pacheco is tall for his division and has consistently been defeating improving opposition.

His most impressive wins came this year against Jack Cullen and Manuel Gallegos. It won’t be long before the super middleweight division has to take Pacheco seriously.

4. Brandun Lee

Division: Super Lightweight

Next up, we have Brandun Lee, an American prospect, with an undefeated boxing record of 28 wins and 0 losses. Lee is only 24 years old, and he has an impressive knockout ration, with 23 of his wins coming before the final bell.

Lee is the former IBO Inter-Continental super lightweight champion, and has continued to give impressive performances against decent competition. In his most recent fight, he defeated Pedro Campa via UD, comfortably unboxing him.

3. Xander Zayas

Division: Super Welterweight

Fighting out of Puerto Rico, Xander Zayas is a young 20-year-old boxer, who is proving himself to be one of the top prospects at 154 pounds. He is the current WBO–NABO and WBC–NABF super-welterweight champion and has an undefeated record with 16 wins, 10 of which have come by knockout.

He is big for his division and strong, so he will probably outgrow his division soon. Still, whatever weight he fights at, you can expect him to become the next big Puerto Rican star

2. Keyshawn Davis

Division: Lightweight

Keyshawn Davis is one of the top prospects in the Lightweight division. He is 24 years old, and currently has an undefeated boxing record with 9 wins. Davis is the current  WBO Inter-Continental Lightweight champion and has defended the title twice already.

He also holds the WBC-USNBC lightweight title. As an amateur, Davis won Silver in the 2020 Olympics and the 2019 world championships. Though he hasn’t faced top-tier competition yet, he could be a big name in the coming years.

1. Jared Anderson

Division: Heavyweight

Jared Anderson is an American up-and-coming boxer. He is only 23 years old and has an undefeated boxing record with 15 wins and 0 losses, with 14 knockouts. With the top brass of the heavyweight division aging out, Anderson could be one of the biggest names in heavyweight boxing in the near future.

Anderson is the two-time US National Championship gold medalist, and in his most recent fight, WBO International heavyweight title as well. With his deadly combination of speed and power, you can expect to see him in the Top 10 heavyweights soon.
