Zach Parker

Zach Parker is a professional Boxer from Britain, and he has a record of 22 wins and 1 loss. Parker is the former WBO Inter-Continental and international super-middleweight champion. In his most recent fight, Parker fought John Ryder for the vacant WBO interim super middleweight title, but could not win; however, he still deserves an honorable mention.

Daniel Jacobs 

Daniel Jacobs is a professional boxer from the United States and he has an extensive Boxing record of 37 wins and 4 losses, with 30 knockouts. Jacobs is also a two-time middleweight world champion, having held both the IBF and the WBA (Regular) middleweight championships.

Demetrius Andrade

Demetrius Andrade also moved up to Super middleweight recently. He is the former WBO Middleweight champion and has an undefeated record of 32 wins and 0 losses. He and Zach Parker are scheduled to fight for the WBO interim super middleweight title on May 21st, 2023.

Carlos Góngora

Carlos Góngora is a professional boxer from Ecuador, and he has a professional record of 21 wins and only 1 loss. 

Góngora is the former IBO super-middleweight champion of the world. He won the title in 2020 and lost it to Lerrone Richards after only one title defense. 

In his most recent fight, he defeated Oscar Riojas, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

10. Lerrone Richards

Title(s):

  • IBO Super Middleweight World Champion

Lerrone Richards is an Undefeated professional boxer from Britain. He has a record of 16 wins and 0 losses and is also the current IBO super-middleweight champion. 

Richards has also held multiple regional titles over his career, which include the European, Commonwealth, and British super-middleweight titles. He defeated Carlos Góngora in his most recent fight, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

9. David Lemieux

David Lemieux is a Canadian professional boxer who has quite an extensive boxing record, with 43 wins and 5 losses. 

Lemieux is the former IBF middleweight champion. He won the title in 2015; however, in his very next fight, he lost the title to GGG.  In 2017, he also fought Billy Joe Saunders for the WBO middleweight title, but couldn’t win. 

In his most recent fight, Lemieux fought David Benavidez for the WBC interim super middleweight title, however, he lost via KO in the third round. There is no announcement about his next fight as of yet.

8. David Morrell

  • WBA Super Middleweight Regular Champion

David Morrell is a Cuban professional boxer with a record of 9 wins and 0 losses. 

Morrell is the current WBA (Regular) super middleweight champion and has already defended the title 4 times. He is the former WBA interim super middleweight champion as well. 

In his most recent fight, he defeated Yamaguchi Falcao via TKO and his next fight has not been announced yet.

7. Anthony Dirrell

Anthony Dirrell is an American professional boxer with a record of 34 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws. 

Anthony Dirrell is a two-time WBC super-middleweight champion, having held the title in 2019 and previously from 2014 to 2015, however, he does not have any title defenses on his resume. Also, Dirrell defeated Marcos Hernandez via KO

In his most recent fight, Dirrell fought Caleb Plant, however, he lost the fight via knockout. There is no announcement about his next fight yet.

6. Billy Joe Saunders

Billy Joe Saunders is a British professional boxer and has a record of 30 wins and 1 loss. 

Saunders has had a very impressive career and has held world titles in two divisions. He is the former WBO middleweight champion and defended his title three times before moving to super-middleweight, where he also held the WBO title and defended it twice. 

He lost his title to Canelo Alvarez in his most recent fight, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

5. Caleb Plant

Caleb Plant is an American professional boxer, with a record of 22 wins and 2 losses 

Plant is the former IBF super-middleweight champion and won the title in 2019, after defeating José Uzcátegui. He defended the title three times before losing it to Canelo Alveraz. 

Last weekend, Caleb Plant fought David Benavidez with the WBC interim super middleweight title on the line. However, he lost the fight via Unanimous Decision.

4. Christian Mbilli

Christian Mbilli is a French professional boxer born in Cameroon. He has an undefeated record of 24 wins and 0 losses.

Christian Mbilli currently holds the WBC Continental Americas and WBA International super middleweight titles and has won multiple other regional titles as well. 

In his most recent fight, he defeated Carlos Gongora via UD, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

3. John Ryder

At number 3, we have John Ryder. A British professional boxer with a record of 32 wins and 6 losses. 

He is the former WBO Interim Super Middleweight champion and has previously also held the WBA interim super-middleweight title. Ryder became the interim champion after defeating Zach Parker. That fight was mostly one-sided, and Parker’s corner stopped the fight after the 4th round.

In his most recent fight he faced Canelo Alvarez with the undisputed titles on the line. He was knocked down multiple times though out the fight and delivered heavy shots pf his own. Eventually he lost by Unanimous Decision.

2. David Benavidez

  • WBC Super Middleweight Interim Champion

David Benavidez is an American professional boxer with an undefeated professional record of 27 wins and no losses, and he is a two-time WBC super middleweight champion. 

He is also the current WBC interim super middleweight champion, and he won the title after defeating Canadian boxer David Lemieux. In his most recent fight, he defended the title in an amazing fight against Caleb Plant. He started slow but came back with a lot of pressure in the later rounds to win the fight. 

As of now, there is no announcement about who Benavidez will fight next.

1. Canelo Álvarez

  • WBC Super Middleweight Champion

  • IBF Super Middleweight Champion

  • WBO Super Middleweight Champion

  • The Ring Super Middleweight Champion

Canelo Alvarez is a Mexican professional boxer with a record of 59 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws. 

He is the current undisputed super middleweight champion of the world, collectively holding the WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF, and The Ring Super Middleweight titles. Canelo has also won world titles at light middleweight, middleweight, and light heavyweight. 

Canelo fought his long-time rival Gennady Golovkin for the third time. It was a largely one-sided fight, and though GGG rallied at the end, it was too little too late, and Canelo won the fight via Unanimous Decision.

Canelo recently fought John Ryder whom Canelo dominated throughout the fight. Canelo broke Ryder’s nose early and knocked down Ryder in the fifth round. Canelo wasn’t able to finish him and the fight went to the score cards which Canelo won by unanimous decision.
