He defeated Yukinori Oguni in his most recent fight, and there is no official announcement about his next fight.

Inoue has held multiple world championships in four weight classes and is the current undisputed super bantamweight world champion, holding the WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring titles. He previously held the undisputed title at bantamweight as well.

Earlier this month, Inoue made his 5th undisputed title defense at super bantamweight, defeating Murodjon Akhmadaliev by Unanimous Decision. Inoue was able to completely shut his opponent down for most of the fight, dominating every round and securing a win on the scorecards
