With another win, Usyk has reclaimed the undisputed heavyweight title and has further solidified his place at the top of the pound-for-pound rankings. Bivol has also moved up to number four after securing a close majority decision win over Beterbiev, as Naoya Inoue and Terrance Crawford continue to hold the top spots. So, here are our latest Top 10 Pound-for-Pound Boxing Rankings, but first, let’s take a look at some honorable mentions.

What does Pound for Pound mean in Boxing?

Pound for Pound or P4P is a ranking system used to compare boxers across the boxing sport regardless of their weight class.

10. Teofimo Lopez

Title(s):

  • WBO Super Lightweight World Champion
  • The Ring Super Lightweight World Champion

Kicking off our pound-for-pound rankings is the electrifying American boxer Teofimo Lopez. With an impressive record of 22 wins and only 1 loss, Lopez has already cemented his place among boxing’s elite.

A two-division world champion, Lopez has dominated both the lightweight and light welterweight divisions. He currently holds the WBO and The Ring light welterweight titles, and reigned as the unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and The Ring champion at lightweight as well. 

In his most recent fight, he defeated Arnold Barboza Jr, and as of now, he doesn’t have a fight scheduled.

9. Devin Haney

Coming in at number 9, we have Devin Haney, who has made it back into the top ten after a solid win over José Ramírez in his most recent fight. 

Haney has an undefeated record with 30 wins and no losses. He has held multiple world championships in two weight classes. He is the former undisputed lightweight champion and has held the WBC super lightweight title as well. 

For his next fight, Haney is scheduled to fight the WBO welterweight champion Brian Norman Jr. The fight will take place on Saturday, November 22.

8. Shakur Stevenson

At number 8, we have an exceptional young American boxer, Shakur Stevenson. He is undefeated as a pro and has 24 wins on his record. 

Stevenson is the current WBC lightweight world champion, and he has previously held the WBO featherweight title as well, along with the unified WBO, WBC, and The Ring titles at Super featherweight. 

In his most recent fight, he made his third consecutive title defense at lightweight, defeating William Zepeda via unanimous decision.  As of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight.

7. Junto Nakatani

Moving up to the number 7 spot, we have one of the biggest stars from Japan, Junto Nakatani. He is undefeated as a professional and has an impressive 31 wins on his record. 

Junto Nakatani has held world championships in three weight classes, and he is the current unified WBC, IBF, and The Ring Bantamweight world champion. He defeated Ryosuke Nishida in his most recent fight, marking his 4th world title defense at bantamweight. 

As of now, there is no official announcement about Nakatani’s next fight. 

6. Canelo Alvarez

At number 6, we have the former pound-for-pound king Canelo Alvarez. He has a record of 63 wins, two losses, and two draws and has held world titles in four different weight classes. 

He is the current Undisputed super middleweight champion and, as of his last fight, has become the only boxer to become a two-time undisputed champion at super middleweight. Overall, Canelo has held multiple world titles in 4 different weight classes. 

In his last fight. Canelo showed that he is still one of the best boxers in the world. He defeated William Scull via unanimous decision to secure the IBF super middleweight title and become the undisputed champion. For his next fight, Canelo is scheduled to fight Terence Crawford on September 13th, 2025.

5. Artur Beterbiev

Next up, we have Artur Beterbiev, the Russian-Canadian powerhouse, who boasts a record of 21 wins with only one loss. 

He is the former undisputed light heavyweight champion and held all four major world titles until his most recent fight against Dmitry Bivol, where he lost a very close Majority Decision to Bivol. 

Though he has dropped a spot in the rankings because of this loss, he is still one of the best active fighters right now, and there are talks of a potential trilogy fight with Bivol, which will finally decide who is the better fighter.

4. Dmitry Bivol

  • IBF Light Heavyweight World Champion
  • WBO Light Heavyweight World Champion
  • WBA Light Heavyweight Super Champion
  • The Ring Light Heavyweight World Champion

Up next, at number 4, we have Dimitry Bivol from Russia. He has an impressive professional record of 24 wins and only one loss. 

Bivol recently achieved undisputed status at light heavyweight, holding the WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring light-heavyweight titles. However, he has since vacated the WBC title.  

His most recent fight was a highly anticipated rematch against Artur Beterbiev. Though things didn’t go his way in their first fight, Bivol was able to secure a majority decision win in another very close and competitive fight. As of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight; however, there were talks of a potential trilogy fight with Beterbiev.

3. Terence Crawford

  • WBA Super Welterweight Super Champion

Coming in at number 3 is Terence “Bud” Crawford, one of boxing’s most skilled and feared fighters. With a perfect 41-0 record (31 KOs), he’s proven himself as an elite pound-for-pound talent.

Crawford is a four-division world champion and one of only three fighters in history to become an undisputed champion in two weight classes. In his latest fight, he moved up to light middleweight and dominated Israel Madrimov, winning a clear unanimous decision to claim WBA and interim WBO titles.

For his next fight, Crawford will finally face the legendary Canelo Alvarez in one of the most anticipated fights of the last few years.

2. Naoya Inoue

At number 2, we have Japan’s “The Monster,” Naoya Inoue. Undefeated with 30 wins (27 KOs), he’s one of the most dominant fighters in boxing today.

Inoue is the current Undisputed Super Bantamweight Champion and one of only three boxers ever to become undisputed in two weight classes. Overall, he has held multiple world titles in four weight classes.

In his last fight, Inoue made his 4th consecutive undisputed title defense at super bantamweight, knocking out Ramon Cardenas in the 8th round of their fight.

Now, finally, for the number 1 spot in our rankings, we have the one and only Oleksandr Usyk. Fighting out of Ukraine, He is undefeated, with 24 wins and 15 knockouts on his record. 

Usyk is the current Undisputed Heavyweight World Champion and the only boxer in history to become a three-time undisputed champ in the four-belt era. He holds the WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF, IBO, and The Ring titles.

Before dominating at heavyweight, he was also the Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion, making him one of the few fighters ever to be undisputed in two weight classes.

He defended the undisputed heavyweight title with a win over Tyson Fury in their Rematch, winning via Unanimous Decision and cementing his position at the top of the boxing world. In his last fight, he knocked out Daniel Dubois to reclaim the Undisputed crown once again.
