Shuichiro Yoshino is a former undefeated boxer from Japan, and he has a record of 16 wins and 1 loss. He recently lost to Shakur Stevenson. He deserves an honorable mention in the Lightweight Boxing Rankings.

Michel Rivera

Michel Rivera is a professional boxer from the Dominican Republic, and he has a boxing record of 24 wins and only 1 loss. 

Rivera has held multiple regional titles including the WBC Continental Americas lightweight title, and the IBF–USBA lightweight title. He has notable wins over Joseph Adorno and Jerry Perez. 

In his most recent fight, he lost to Frank Martin, and there is no official announcement about his next fight.

10. Gustavo Daniel Lemos

Gustavo Daniel Lemos is a talented boxer from Argentina. He has an undefeated professional record of 28 wins and 0 losses. 

Lemos has won multiple regional titles including the IBF Latino lightweight title, and super-lightweight titles, along with the IBF Youth lightweight title. In his most recent fight, Lemos defeated Lee Selby, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

9. Ryan Garcia

Ryan Garcia is an American boxer with an undefeated record of 23 wins and 1 loss. 

Garcia is the former WBC interim lightweight champion. He won the title after defeating Luke Campbell back in January of 2021. Garcia has also held multiple regional titles, including the WBC silver lightweight title. 

In his most recent fight, Garcia fought Gervonta Davis. He had a tough fight, getting knocked down in both the second and seventh rounds. Garcia took a brutal body shot in the seventh and had to take a knee. He couldn’t beat the countdown and lost the fight.

There is no official announcement about his next fight but Garcia is talking about going up to Super Lightweight.

8. Frank Martin

Frank Martin is a professional boxer from the USA, and he has an undefeated record of 17 wins and 0 losses. Martin is ranked #5 by TBRB, and #6 by BoxRec. and #8 here in the Lightweight Boxing Rankings He has notable wins over fighters like Romero Duno, Jackson Maríñez, and Michel Rivera.

In his most recent fight, he defeated Artem Harutyunyan winning by unanimous decision. A knockdown in the last round of the sealed the victory. There is no official announcement about his next fight.

7. George Kambosos Jr.

George Kambosos Jr is an Australian boxer with a professional record of 20 wins and 2 losses. 

Kambosos is the former unified WBA, WBO, IBF, and the Ring lightweight champion, and won the titles after defeating Teofimo Lopez. However, in his next fight, he lost the title to Devin Haney. 

His most recent fight was a rematch against British boxer, Maxi Hughes, which he won in a close controversial fight by majority decision. He is now the new IBO Lightweight Champion. There is no announcement on his next fight.

6. William Zepeda

William Zepeda is a Mexican professional boxer, and he has an undefeated record of 28 wins and 0 losses. 

Zepeda has previously held the WBC Continental Americas lightweight title, which he defended twice. In his most recent fight he defeated Jaime Arboleda by knockout. Zepeda knocked down Arboleda 3 times in the 2nd round all by body shots.

5. Isaac Cruz

Isaac Cruz is a professional boxer from Mexico, and he has a record of 24 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw.

Issac Cruz currently holds the WBO Inter-Continental lightweight title, which he won in his most recent fight after defeating Yuriorkis Gamboa. Cruz also challenged Gervonta Davis for the WBA (Regular) world title back in December of last year, however, he lost via Unanimous Decision.

Past two fights, Issac Cruz took on Yuriorkis Gamboa and Eduardo Ramirez. In an impressive showing, Cruz knocked out Gamboa in the 5th round. In his most recent fight, Cruz defeated Ramirez by KO. His next fight has not been officially announced yet, however, there is a chance that he may fight Giovanni Cabrera next

4. Shakur Stevenson

Shakur Stevenson is a professional boxer from the USA. He has an undefeated record of 18-0.

Stevenson is the former unified The Ring, WBO, and WBC super featherweight champion of the world. He was stripped of his titles after missing weight for his fight against Robson Conceição. Stevenson is also the former WBO Featherweight world champion and has held multiple regional titles. 

Stevenson put on a technical clinic against his last fight, Shuichiro Yoshino, defeating him via Unanimous Decision in a very one-sided match. There is no official announcement about his next fight yet.

3. Gervonta Davis

  • WBA Lightweight Regular Champion

Gervonta Davis is an American Boxer with an undefeated professional record of 29 wins and 0 losses. 

Davis has held world titles in three different weight classes, he recently held the WBA lightweight world title and defended it 4 times. He also held the same title at super lightweight, and the WBA (Super) and IBF titles at super featherweight.

Against Hector Garcia, he had quite a competitive fight until the 8th round when Davis dropped Garcia with a flush straight left. Davis continued to visibly hurt Garcia for the remainder of the round. The fight was called off by Garcia Corner after the 8th round and Davis won via Corner stoppage. 

Recently, Davis fought Ryan Garcia. He dominated the fight from start to finish, getting a knockdown in the second round, followed by a finish in the seventh round. It was done by a body shot that shutdown Garcia for the 10 count.

2. Vasyl Lomachenko

Vasyl Lomachenko is a Boxer from Ukraine. He has a professional boxing record of 19 wins and 2 losses. 

Lomachenko has won world titles in three different world classes, and at lightweight, he held the unified WBA (Super), WBO, WBC, and The Ring lightweight titles. He lost the title to Teofimo Lopez, however, since then, he has won his next three fights in a row

In his most recent fight, Lomachenko faced Devin Haney for the undisputed title. Lomachenko lost a close fight to Haney losing by split decision. Lomachenko won the early rounds and later rounds as well with heavy shots but was not enough.

Devin Haney is an American Boxer with an undefeated record of 29-0 with 15 KOs. He is currently the #1 ranked lightweight boxer in the world, and holds all four major world titles at lightweight. 

Devin Haney is the current Undisputed lightweight champion, holding the unified WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring lightweight titles.  Haney became the WBC champion back in 2019 when he was promoted to the Interim title. He defended the title three times before winning the undisputed titles. 

Haney fought George Kambosos Jr in a rematch, and won once again. Like the first fight, the rematch was quite onesided, with Haney taking the Unanimous Decision win.

Recently, Haney faced former undisputed champion Vasyl Lomachenko for his undisputed titles. Haney overcame Lomachenko’s early start and was able to connect against him enough in the middle rounds to win those.

Haney was able to hold off against Lomachenko in the later rounds and winning the 12th round which looked to be the deciding factor of the match.
