The final month of the 2022 MLB schedule has arrived as MLB teams and MLB players look to push their way into the off-season.

As you look around the Top 10 MLB players September 2022 rankings list, many of the players have been key to their team’s success while positioning their respective teams in the MLB playoff picture.

While only 10 of the best players in MLB can make the list, many other great names are well deserving of a spot but just missed the cut.

At the top of the list remains the AL MVP front runner Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees as he continues to push towards a new AL home run record.

Meanwhile a new name to join the Top 10 list is the reigning AL MVP Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels as well as Kyle Wright of the Atlanta Braves.

Each of these MLB players missed the list in August but have turned on the heat down the stretch. Here is a look at the Top 10 MLB Players September 2022 rankings list.

Honorable Mention

Julio Urias

Team: Los Angeles Dodgers

Landing just outside of the Top 10 MLB Players September 2022 rankings list is the Los Angeles Dodgers starter Julio Urias.

Urias has been brilliant for the team for most of the 2022 MLB schedule while pitching to the 4th best earned run average in all of baseball.

Over his first 27 starts of the season, Urias has a 2.30 earned run average to go along with a 16-7 record, .95 WHIP and a .197 batting average against.

9. Trea Turner

Team: Los Angeles Dodgers

One player that enters the rankings list is the Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Trea Turner who continues to hit.

Turner continues to be as good or better than nearly every shortstop in baseball over the course of the Major League Baseball schedule.

The Dodgers shortstop currently ranks 9th in all of baseball with a .306 batting average while also ranking 5th in runs batted in with 96 through 130 games played this season.
