The 2022-23 Women’s College Basketball season is off and running as the 2022 calendar year comes to an end.

With the final few days of 2022 remaining, the future looks bright around women’s college basketball as a long list of loaded NCAA women’s basketball teams look to compete for a chance to take home the National Championship in March 2023.

However only ten of those teams can land on the Top 10 Women’s College Basketball Teams 2022 Rankings December list.

One of those teams that continues to dominate week in and week out dating back to the 2021-22 NCAA Basketball season is the South Carolina Gamecocks.

The Gamecocks enter December 28th, ranked as the top overall team on the AP Top 25 Women’s College Basketball poll after starting the season with 12 straight wins. As the Gamecocks keep  rolling, two Big Ten schools make big jumps into the Top 5 Women’s programs.

Those two programs are the Indiana Hoosiers and Ohio State Buckeyes who land at number two and three after red hot starts to the 2022-23 NCAA Women’s Basketball schedule. Here is a look at the Top 10 Women’s College Basketball Teams 2022 Rankings December.
