The 2022-23 NBA season continues to march along as the holiday season is fast approaching. As gifts and holiday cheer is just around the corner, the NBA continues to deliver some gifts to start the season as fans have been delivered some top tier basketball on the hardwood.

For DFS owners, the NBA season has been red hot since the opening tip off to start the regular season through mid-November.

As you start to look at the NBA schedule shaping to wrap up on November 20th, 2022, the schedule is loaded with talent landing on the Top 10 Fantasy NBA Players to Start Week Ending November 20th, 2022, rankings list.

Headlining the list is the Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry who has been as hot as any player around the league and one of the NBA DFS options to start building your fantasy lineups around.

Curry entered play on Monday November 14th, 2022, ranked inside of the top 5 in NBA scoring as well as within the top 20 in both assists per game and rebounds per game.

While Curry lands at the top of the list some of the other top tier NBA DFS fantasy options for this week includes Giannis Antetokounmpo, John Wall, Luka Doncic, Klay Thompson, and Kristaps Porzingis. Here is a look at the Top 10 Fantasy NBA Players to Start Week Ending November 20th, 2022, rankings:

Honorable Mention

Russell Westbrook

Team: Los Angeles Lakers

Position: Point Guard
NBA Matchups: VS Detroit Pistons (11/18/22), VS San Antonio Spurs (11/20/22)

Just missing the Top 10 Fantasy NBA Players to Start Week Ending November 20th, 2022, rankings list is the Los Angeles Lakers point guard Russell Westbrook.

Westbrook, who has had a notorious career for filling the stat sheets for his fantasy owners has taken over more of a reserve role during the 2022-23 NBA schedule.

That said, the Lakers have a solid two game lineup of NBA games this week against the Detroit Pistons and San Antonio Spurs who both rank in the top seven in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards.

Marcus Morris Sr.

Team: Los Angeles Clippers

Position: Power Forward
NBA Matchups: @ Houston Rockets (11/14/22), @ Dallas Mavericks (11/15/22), VS Detroit Pistons (11/17/22), VS San Antonio Spurs (11/19/22)

Another solid DFS fantasy option for DFS basketball owners to consider is the Sacramento Kings power forward and NBA veteran Marcus Morris Sr.

Morris Sr and the Los Angeles Clippers have a busy schedule this week with games against the Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons, and San Antonio Spurs.

Of those four matchups three of the four come against teams that rank among the leaders in points allowed to the power forward position including the Houston Rockets, Detroit Pistons, and San Antonio Spurs.

Top 10 Fantasy NBA Rankings

10. Deandre Ayton

Team: Phoenix Suns

Position: Center
NBA Matchups: @ Miami Heat (11/14/22), VS Golden State Warriors (11/16/22), @ Utah Jazz (11/18/22), VS New York Knicks (11/20/22).

In at number 10 on the Top 10 Fantasy NBA Players to Start Week Ending November 20th, 2022, rankings list is the Phoenix Suns big man Deandre Ayton.

Ayton is an interesting option at the center position despite his inconsistencies to start the season. While he averages 14.5 per game to go along with 7.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists, the Suns star has shown in the past his ability to be a double double machine for his DFS owners.

One interesting matchup for Ayton comes in the team’s matchup against the Golden State Warriors, the same team he posted 16 points, 14 rebounds, and four assists against in late October.

9. Al Horford

Team: Boston Celtics

Position: Center
NBA Matchups: VS Oklahoma City Thunder (11/14/22), @ Atlanta Hawks (11/16/22), @ New Orleans Pelicans (11/18/22)

While the veteran big man continues to add to his career resume, the former Florida Gators basketball star is having yet again another solid season during the 2022-23 NBA Season.

While Horford is not as solid as he was when he was younger, he is still a nice budget DFS play at the center position while having a few solid fantasy matchups during the week.

One of those matchups comes Wednesday Night against an Atlanta Hawks team that ranks 6th in the NBA in fantasy points allowed to opposing centers.

Overall, Horford is averaging 11.2 points per game to go along with 6.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game while often delivering a blocked shot and/or steal.

8. John Wall

Team: Los Angeles Clippers

Position: Point Guard
NBA Matchups: @ Houston Rockets (11/14/22), @ Dallas Mavericks (11/15/22), VS Detroit Pistons (11/17/22), VS San Antonio Spurs (11/19/22)

Once one of the top point guards in the NBA, John Wall has been solid at the point guard position on a veteran-based Los Angeles Clippers.

While DFS owners will lose the opportunity to use him on Monday Night against a Houston Rockets team that ranks near the tops of the NBA in total fantasy points allowed, they should have additional opportunities over the rest of the week to capitalize with him.

Wall has led the Clippers in assists six times to the start the season. In a previous matchup against the Spurs, Wall posted 15 points to go along with six assists.

7. Kevin Huerter

Team: Sacramento Kings

Position: Shooting Guard
NBA Matchups: VS Brooklyn Nets (11/15/22), VS San Antonio Spurs (11/17/22), VS Detroit Pistons (11/20/22)

One of our top DFS fantasy sleeper plays of the week and budget NBA fantasy option is the Sacramento Kings shooting guard and former Maryland Terp Kevin Huerter.

Huerter and the Kings will be busy this week with three games over the week including matchups against both the San Antonio Spurs and Detroit Pistons.

Each of those two teams rank in the top seven in the NBA in fantasy points allowed to opposing shooting guards. Huerter has topped the 22 plus point mark in four of his first 12 games to start the 2022-23 NBA schedule.

6. Klay Thompson

Team: Golden State Warriors

Position: Shooting Guard
NBA Matchups: VS San Antonio Spurs (11/14/22), @ Phoenix Suns (11/16/22), VS New York Knicks (11/18/22), @ Houston Rockets (11/20/22)

Shooters will shoot and that is exactly what the veteran shooting guard of the Golden State Warriors has done this season.

While Thompson has seen his numbers drop to start the season much of that has to do with the MVP caliber start that teammate Stephen Curry has put together to start the season.

Nonetheless if you are looking for strong fantasy matchups for this week Klay Thompson is a great option as he will have matchups against the San Antonio Spurs, New York Knicks, and Houston Rockets to end the busy NBA fantasy basketball weekend.

Thompson currently ranks 8th in the in-scoring averaging 14.7 points per game to go along with 3.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

5. Keldon Johnson

Team: San Antonio Spurs

Position: Small Forward
NBA Matchups: @ Golden State Warriors (11/14/22), @ Portland Trailblazers (11/15/22), @ Sacramento Kings (11/17/22), @ Los Angeles Clippers (11/19/22), @ Los Angeles Lakers (11/20/22)

Landing in at number five on the Top 10 Fantasy NBA Players to Start Week Ending November 20th, 2022, rankings list is the San Antonio Spurs small forward and breakout star Keldon Johnson.

Johnson and the Spurs will be extremely busy this week with a five-game slate kicking off on Monday November 14th, 2022.

The Spurs small forward will be looking to take advantage of the matchups this week including against the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers who both rank inside the top five in fantasy points allowed against opposing small forwards.

Overall, Johnson has posted at least 20 points in nine times to start the season including two games with at least 30 points.

4. Kristaps Porzingis

Team: Washington Wizards

Position: Center
NBA Matchups: VS Oklahoma City Thunder (11/16/22), VS Miami Heat (11/18/22), VS Charlotte Hornets (11/20/22)

One of the big surprises around the NBA to start the season has been the recently strong play of the Washington Wizards.

Much of this success has to do with their two big stars Bradley Beal and big man Kristaps Porzingis. In addition to producing for the Wizards, Porzingis is putting together a strong season for his DFS basketball owners who continue to turn to him.

The Wizards center has posted five double doubles to start the season while averaging 21.5 points to go along with 7.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.8 blocked shots per game over his last six contests.

3. Giannis Antetokounmpo

Team: Milwaukee Bucks

Position: Power Forward
NBA Matchups: VS Atlanta Hawks (11/14/22), VS Cleveland Cavaliers (11/16/22), @ Philadelphia 76ers (11/18/22)

Before just electing to slot in the Greek Freak to your DFS lineups, take the time to look at his injury status as he is slated as a game time decision on Monday Night against the Atlanta Hawks.

That said, if Giannis Antetokounmpo is in the lineup, he is a must start night in and night out despite the heavy price tag.

The Milwaukee Bucks star ranks 5th in the NBA in scoring averaging 31.8 points per game, 2nd in the NBA in rebounds with 12.2 per game while also adding 5.3 assists.

2. Luka Doncic

Team: Dallas Mavericks

Position: Point Guard
NBA Matchups: VS Los Angeles Clippers (11/15/22), VS Houston Rockets (11/16/22), VS Denver Nuggets (11/18/22, 11/20/22).

Similar to the Greek Freak, Luka Doncic is nearly a must start nearly every night of the week. However, for DFS owners it simply comes down to getting creative with DFS sleepers to offset his cost while allowing a stack with other top fantasy options such as Stephen Curry.

Doncic has an ideal must start matchup on Wednesday November 16th, 2022, against a Houston Rockets team that ranks 1st in the NBA in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards. Over the weekend Doncic will have a key showdown against reigning two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic.

1. Stephen Curry

Team: Golden State Warriors

Position: Point Guard
NBA Matchups: VS San Antonio Spurs (11/14/22), @ Phoenix Suns (11/16/22), VS New York Knicks (11/18/22), @ Houston Rockets (11/20/22)

In at number one on the Top 10 Fantasy NBA Players to Start Week Ending November 20th, 2022, rankings list is the Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry.

Curry has been red hot to start the season while ranking 2nd in the NBA in scoring. In addition, Curry ranks 12th in the NBA in rebounds per game (6.8), and 17th in assists per game (6.5).

Over his last four games, Curry has posted at least 39 points in three of the four games. Curry will have ideal matchups against the San Antonio Spurs, New York Knicks, and Houston Rockets to round out the week. Curry is a must start in most DFS fantasy lineups night in and night out.
