He is a two-time UFC middleweight world champion He initially won the title after defeating Robert Whittaker, and defended it 5 times before losing it to long-time rival Alex Periera.
However, last weekend, he defeated Pereira in their rematch and regained the title. Adesanya was much more aggressive in the second fight and employed a lot more pressure. Both fighters exchanged shots in the first, and Adesanya got the knockout win in the second round.
