After winning the WBC and The Ring titles, Dina Thorslund remains on top of the division, with Cherneka Johnson taking the number 3 spot after defeating Nina Hughes recently. So, here are our updated Women’s Bantamweight Boxing Rankings for the women’s Bantamweight division, but first, let’s take a look at some honorable mentions.

Women’s Bantamweight is a weight class of boxers that consists of female boxers weighing 115 pounds (52.2 kg) to 118 pounds (53.5 kg).

10. Zulina Muñoz

Zulina Muñoz is a professional boxer from Mexico, and she has an impressive boxing record of 54 wins, 5 losses, and 2 draws.

Muñoz is the former WBC female super flyweight world champion, and she has held multiple regional titles as a bantamweight as well. She recently challenged Dina Thorslund for the WBO bantamweight title, but could not win. 

In her most recent fight, she defeated Alondra Prado Nava, and her next fight has not been announced yet. 

9. Paulette Valenzuela

Paulette Valenzuela Cuesta is a boxer from Mexico, and she has a professional record of 17 wins and 3 losses. 

Valenzuela is a former title challenger having fought for the WBO Super Bantamweight title back in 2021. She has moved to bantamweight since then, and in her most recent fight, she defeated fellow Mexican boxer Cristina Hernandez. 

As of now, there is no official announcement about her next fight.

Shannon O’Connell is an Australian professional boxer with a record of 23 wins 7 losses and 1 draw. 

She is the former WBF female featherweight world champion and also held the WBA gold bantamweight title. She has also won multiple regional titles at Bantamweight including the Commonwealth Boxing Council Bantamweight title. 

In her most recent fight, she lost to Ebanie Bridges, and there is no official announcement about her next fight yet. 

7. Ebanie Bridges

Ebanie Bridges is a professional boxer from Australia, and she has a record of 9 wins and 2 losses. 

She is the former IBF Women’s Bantamweight world champion. She won the title after defeating María Cecilia Román and defended it once against Shannon O’Connell

In her most recent fight, she lost the title to Miyo Yoshida in a mostly one-sided bout that ended in a Unanimous Decision loss for Bridges. There is no announcement about her next fight yet. 

6. Nina Hughes

Nina Hughes is a professional boxer from Britain, and she has a record of 6 wins and 1 loss. 

Hughes is the former WBA women’s Bantamweight world champion. She won the title after defeating Jamie Mitchell last year and defended it for the first time against Katie Healy. However, in her most recent fight, she lost the title to Cherneka Johnson.  

She put up a good fight, but couldn’t do enough, losing via Majority Decision. As of now, there is no official announcement about her next fight. 

5. Seren Cetin

Next up on our Women’s Bantamweight Boxing list, we have Seren Cetin, an undefeated Professional boxer from Turkiye, with 11 wins on her record. 

She is the current WBC Silver Bantamweight champion and has defended it once. She defeated Mary Romero in her most recent fight and is scheduled to fight Dina Thorslund for her unified WBC, WBO, and The Ring Bantamweight titles a few days from now on 25th May. 

4. Yulihan Luna

Yulihan Luna is a Mexican professional boxer with a record of 25 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw. 

She has won world titles in two weight classes, having held the WBC Women’s Bantamweight title, and the IBF world title at Super Bantamweight. 

She lost the WBC bantamweight title to Dina Thorslund in her most recent fight, and as of now, her next fight has not been announced. 

3. Cherneka Johnson

Next up in the Top 3 of our Women’s Bantamweight Boxing Rankings, Cherneka Johnson is a New Zealand-born boxer fighting out of Australia, and she has a record of 16 wins and 2 losses. 

Johnson is the current WBA female bantamweight world champion, and she has previously held the IBF world title at super bantamweight as well. 

In her most recent fight, she defeated Nina Hughes via Majority decision and won the WBA bantamweight title. 

2. Miyo Yoshida
