The Liberty star ranks among the best three-point shooters within the league however her skills do not stop there as the Liberty guard is a playmaker both on the glass as well as running the team’s offense while also being an unselfish player looking for stars such as Breanna Stewart at times on the offensive end of the floor.

Overall Ionescu brings a strong all-around game that features the ability to add five rebounds and five assists each game to go along with 17 plus points.

Top 10 WNBA Players 2024 Rankings

10. Kelsey Plum

Team: Las Vegas Aces

Position: Guard

Sliding in at number 10 on the Top 10 WNBA Players 2024 Rankings Preview is the Las Vegas Aces guard Kelsey Plum. Plum is one of a handful of Aces who have the talent and production to land among the best players in the league.

Plum will enter the season along with A’ja Wilson looking to become the second WNBA franchise to repeat and first since the Houston Comets won four straight from 1997 to 2000.

She is a jack of trade guard who not only commands the Aces offense but is also one the best passers in the league while averaging 4.5 assists per game last season.

With a ton of fire power on the floor scoring opportunities are limited however Plum has capitalized averaging 18.7 and 20.2 points per game over the past two seasons.

9. Kahleah Copper

Team: Phoenix Mercury

Position: Guard

After spending the past seven seasons with the Chicago Sky, Kahleah Copper will start a new legacy after being traded to the Phoenix Mercury during the off-season.

The former Rutgers Scarlett Knights guard is coming off her best season within the WNBA while coming off averaging a career high 18.7 points per game.

The Mercury landed another playmaker on the offensive end of the floor while giving the team another talented offensive weapon who can shoot among the best within the league.

Copper is coming off an impressive 40.4 three-point percentage mark along with a 44.8 field goal percentage while averaging 31.2 minutes per game.

8. Satou Sabally

Team: Dallas Wings

Position: Forward

When you look at the best players in the WNBA sometimes you must look deeper than just overall scoring numbers. This is the case when you look at Satou Sabally who is one of the best shooters in the WNBA and a player who has the potential to score 20 plus points per game, however, her unselfish style of play limits her overall scoring potential.

Sabally has a complete all-around game while averaging 18.6 points per game while also adding 8.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. The Dallas Wings forward enters the 2024 WNBA season coming off finishing ninth in the WNBA in scoring, tenth in rebounding, and 14th in assists.

In addition, Sabally added nearly two steals per game over 38 games played last season. The big question now is how long Sabally will be out after suffering a shoulder injury during Olympic qualifying that required surgery.

7. Arike Ogunbowale

Team: Dallas Wings

Position: Guard

The sixth year WNBA star and three-time WNBA All-Star continues to put together a strong WNBA resume each season. The latest success came last season the Dallas Wings star posted her second career season averaging at least 20 points while finishing with 21.2 points per game over 40 games played.

The former Maryland Terps star brings an all-around game to the floor while giving up a chance to elevate her own personal scoring numbers to improve the overall team.

Thomas is a tremendous leader and a player who not only averages 15.5 points per game but also led the WNBA in rebounding (9.9) while also ranking second in assists per game (7.9).

Team: Minnesota Lynx

Position: Forward

One team entering the 2024 WNBA Season looking to take a big step forward is the Minnesota Lynx who continues to add weapons to compete while also continuing to rely on Napheesa Collier to continue to elevate her game.

The former UConn Huskies forward is strong on both ends of the floor providing a shot blocker down low as well as someone who can play aggressive defense to limit opposing players attacking the glass. Collier should continue this success during the upcoming season.

3. Jewell Lloyd

Team: Seattle Storm

Position: Guard

Entering the 2024 WNBA Season the Seattle Storm are looking to bounce back as a team to beat while adding multiple key weapons to join Jewell Lloyd. Lloyd will enter the season as the team’s top weapon just a season after leading the league in scoring while averaging 24.7 points per game.

The former first overall pick during the 2015 WNBA Draft also averaged 4.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and one steal per game over 38 games played.

Since entering the league during the 2015 WNBA Season, Lloyd has averaged double figures in each season she has played including setting her career high last season while topping the 20-point mark for the first time of her career.

Team: Las Vegas Aces

Another talented star that continues to build a Hall of Fame resume is the former South Carolina Gamecocks star and current Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson.

Wilson displayed her ability to rank among the best players in the league while posting 23.8 points per game and 11.8 rebounds while leading the Aces to their second straight WNBA Championship last season.
