Noel Arambulet was a talented fighter at 105 lbs who deserves an honorable mention. He became the strawweight champion twice.

Hi Yong Choi from South Korea was also a world champion at strawweight, and he made 4 title defenses as well. He also deserves an honorable mention.

10. Hideyuki Ohashi

Hideyuki Ohashi is a former professional boxer from Japan, who competed from 1985 to 1993.

Ohashi won world titles at both minimumweight and light flyweight. He won the WBC Strawweight world title in 1990 and became the WBA Champion in 1992 as well. 

He retired with an impressive record of 19 wins and 5 losses.

9. Eagle Kyowa

Eagle Kyowa is a former professional boxer from Japan, who competed from 2000 to 2007.

Kyowa won the WBC Strawweight world title twice, first in 2004 and then again the next year. He made a total of 5 title defenses throughout his career. 

He retired with an impressive record of 26 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws, and held the WBA strawweight title for 6 years.

8. Rosendo Alvarez

Rosendo Alvarez is a former professional boxer from Nicaragua, who competed from 1992 to 2012.

Rosendo Alvarez won world titles in two weight classes. He reigned as the WBA Strawweight champion and defended his title 5 times. He also won the WBA and The Ring titles at light flyweight. 

He retired with an impressive record of 37 wins, 4 losses, and 2 draws.

7. Fahlan Sakkreerin

Fahlan Sakkreerin is a former professional boxer from Thailand, who competed from 1998 to 2011.

Sakkreerin has held the world title in three different weight classes. At Mini Flyweight, he won the IBF world title and defended it successfully 7 times. Sakkreerin also won the WBF flyweight and WBO Light Flyweight titles. 

He retired with an impressive record of 54 wins, 4 losses, and 3 draws.

6. Chana Porpaoin

Chana Porpaoin is a former professional boxer from Thailand, who competed from 1988 to 2006.

Porpaoin became the WBA strawweight champion in 1993, and reigned for almost 3 years, making 8 successful title defenses along the way. 

He retired with a record of 53 wins, 4 losses, and 5 draws.

5. Jose Antonio Aguirre

Jose Antonio Aguirre is a former professional boxer from Mexico, who competed from 1995 to 2015.

He held the NABF and the WBC strawweight world titles and defended them multiple times. He made 7 successful defenses for the WBC world title and competed for the world title at light flyweight as well. 

He retired with an impressive record of 35 wins, 11 losses, and 1 draw.

4. Ratanapol Sor Vorapin

Ratanapol Sor Vorapin is a former professional boxer from Thailand, who competed from 1990 to 2009.

Vorapin became a two-time world champion at strawweight. He won the IBF title twice and made a total of 19 title defenses

He retired with an impressive record of 59 wins, 8 losses, and 1 draw.

3. Zolani Petelo

Zolani Petelo is a professional boxer from South Africa, and he was active between 1993 and 2005. 

Petelo has won world titles at both Light flyweight and strawweight. He reigned as the IBF world champion in both weight classes and made five title defenses at Strawweight. 

He retired with a boxing record of 17 wins and 5 losses.

2. Ivan Calderon

Ivan Calderon is a former professional boxer from Puerto Rico, who competed from 2001 to 2012. 

He held world titles in two different weight classes, and at strawweight, he reigned as the WBO champion, making a total of 11 consecutive title defenses before moving up to light flyweight. 

He retired with an impressive record of 35 wins and 3 losses and never lost a single fight at strawweight.

1. Ricardo Lopez

Ricardo López is a Mexican former professional boxer who was active in the ring between 1895 and 2001. 

He held world titles in two different weight classes, but the best of his career was spent at strawweight, where he became the WBC mini flyweight champion, and defended it a record-breaking 22 times. Lopez also held the WBA and WBO strawweight titles. 

He retired with an undefeated boxing record of 51 wins and 0 losses.
