Florence Muthoni is a professional boxer from Kenya, and she has a professional record of 12 wins and 9 losses. Though she doesn't make the rankings, she deserves an honorable mention.

Tori Nelson is another boxer who deserves an honorable mention. She has a record of 18 wins, 2 losses, and three draws.




Top 10 Female Middleweight Boxers

10. Tayla Harris

Tayla Harris is an Australian football player and professional boxer. She has a boxing record of 7 wins and no losses and is ranked as the 8th best active female middleweight boxer by BoxRec. 

She is the  Australian female super welterweight and middleweight champion. She defeated Janay Harding in her most recent fight which was in 2019, and her next fight has not been announced yet.




9. Maricela Cornejo

Maricela Cornejo is an American professional boxer with a record of 14 wins and 5 losses. She is currently the #5 ranked active female middleweight boxer according to BoxRec. 

She is the former WBC International female super middleweight champion, and also challenged Franchón Crews-Dezurn for the WBC and WBO super middleweight title. She won her most recent fight against Miranda Barber, and her next fight has not been announced yet. 




8. Alma Ibarra

Alma Ibarra is a Mexican boxer with a professional boxing record of 9 wins and only 1 defeat. Ibarra is the #5 ranked active female middleweight boxers in the world according to the Ring. 

Though she hasn't won a world title yet, she did challenge Raquel Miller for the WBA interim super-welterweight title, and in her most recent fight, she defeated Kandi Wyatt via a unanimous decision. 

Her next fight has not been announced yet.




7. Maria Lindberg

Maria Lindberg is a professional boxer from Sweden, who has a professional record of 19 wins, 7 losses, 2 draws, and 1 no-contest.

She is the former WIBF light-middleweight champion, and has also challenged for middleweight world titles twice, once against Christina Hammer and once against Savannah Marshall. She lost her most recent fight against Hannah Rankin, and there is no announcement about her next fight yet.




6. Femke Hermans

Femke Hermans is a Belgian professional boxer with a record of 12 wins and 3 losses. She is the current European female middleweight champion. 

Femke Hermans has won multiple titles at super middleweight as well, including the WBF International female super-middleweight title, and the WBO super middleweight title. 

In her most recent fight, she fought Savannah Marshal for the WBO Female Middleweight title, however, she lost via KO in the final seconds of the third round.




5. Hannah Rankin

Hannah Rankin is a Scottish Professional boxer with a professional record of 11 wins and 5 losses. She is also the #3 ranked female middleweight in the world according to BoxRec.

Rankin is the current WBA female super-welterweight and has formerly also held the vacant WBC Silver female middleweight title. She challenged both Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshal for the middleweight world title, but could not win. 

She won her most recent fight against Maria Lindberg, and her next fight has not been announced yet.




4. Ema Kozin

At number 4, we have Ema Kozin. The Slovenian professional boxer has a record of 21 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw, and she is a two-division world champion. 

She is the former unified WBF female and WIBA and super-middleweight, and still holds the WIBA and super-middleweight title. At middleweight, she won the WBC interim female middleweight, and currently holds the WIBA middleweight title as well. 

In her most recent fight, she lost to Claressa Shields and her next fight has not been announced yet.




3. Christina Hammer

Christina Hammer is a professional boxer from Germany. She has a professional boxing record of 26 wins and 1 loss. 

Hammer has held multiple world titles in two weight divisions. She is the former unified WBC and WBO female middleweight champion, and in her most recent fight, she moved up to super-middleweight and WIBF super-middleweight titles as well, after defeating Sanna Turunen. 

Her next fight has not been announced yet.




2. Savannah Marshall

Savannah Marshall is a professional boxer from Britain, and she has an undefeated boxing record of 12 wins and no losses.

As an amatuer, she won a gold medal in the 2012 world championships. She started her professional career in 2017 and is the current WBO Female Middleweight champion, having defended the title 3 times.

Last weekend, Marshall defeated Femke Hermans via knockout. In the final seconds of the third round, she landed a huge left hook that sent Hermans toppling to the canvas and got the knockout. Marshall called out Claressa Shields for an undisputed title match.

Claressa Shields is an American Professional Boxer with a record of 12 wins and no losses. 

She started her professional career in 2016 and has won multiple world titles in three different weight classes, holding the undisputed title in two of them. She is the current unified WBA, WBC, IBF, and The Ring female middleweight champion, and the unified WBO, IBF, and the Ring Light Middleweight champion. 

Last weekend she defeated Ema Kozin to defend her titles. The fight was mostly one-sided, and  Claressa Shields won every round of the fight for a 100-90 unanimous decision by all three judges.
