Last weekend, Marshall defeated Femke Hermans via knockout. In the final seconds of the third round, she landed a huge left hook that sent Hermans toppling to the canvas and got the knockout. Marshall called out Claressa Shields for an undisputed title match.

She started her professional career in 2016 and has won multiple world titles in three different weight classes, holding the undisputed title in two of them. She is the current unified WBA, WBC, IBF, and The Ring female middleweight champion, and the unified WBO, IBF, and the Ring Light Middleweight champion.
Last weekend she defeated Ema Kozin to defend her titles. The fight was mostly one-sided, and Claressa Shields won every round of the fight for a 100-90 unanimous decision by all three judges.
