Position: Place Kicker
Landing just outside of the Top 10 NFL Latino Players 2024-2025 rankings list is the Chicago Bears Place Kicker Cairo Santos. Born in Brazil, Cairo Santos continued to show his powerful leg for the Bears in the 2024 season.
Although Santos only converted 21 of 25 field goal attempts, he was 8 of 9 on attempts 50+ yards out and only missed one of his 26 extra-point attempts. His dependability under pressure makes him a reliable veteran for the Bears’ special teams unit.

Coming in at number 10 on the Top 10 NFL Latino Players 2024-2025 rankings list is the Indianapolis Colts Punter Rigoberto Sanchez. Rigoberto Sanchez, who is of Mexican heritage, made a triumphant season in 2024 after recovering from an Achilles injury that sidelined him in 2022.

Although he didn’t record a reception during the 2024 season, he contributed on special teams by amassing over 170 return yards on 10 total attempts between punts and kickoffs.

8. Malcolm Rodriguez

One player who landed on the Top Latino Players of 2023, has climbed the ladder this season once again is Malcolm Rodriguez. Of Mexican descent, Malcolm Rodriguez continued to shine as one of Detroit’s rising defensive stars.
Despite only playing the team’s first 10 games due to a knee injury, the hard-hitting linebacker recorded 43 total tackles, including 27 solo, and added 2 sacks.
