When the dust settles and the first whistle of the 2025-26 NFL season cuts through the autumn air, one thing is clear: the Latino players in the league are no longer just a handful of promising names; they are bona fide stars. As the number of Latino based players continues, to grow from one season to the next, the opportunity for the next big star of the league to be of that descent continues to grow. One of those talented Latino NFL players is the San Francisco 49ers standout All-Pro linebacker Fred Warner who lands atop the Top 10 Best NFL Latino Players 2025-2026 Rankings list.

With Warner leading the pack, the growth in both performance and recognition for Latino athletes has become impossible to ignore each NFL season. From pass-rushers terrorizing quarterbacks on the defensive side of the ball to talented speedy wide receiver that continues to put together a solid start to his career in Chris Olave of the New Orleans Saints.

Corey Bojorquez

Team: Cleveland Browns

Position: Punter

Just missing the Top 10 Best NFL Latino Players 2025-2026 Rankings list is the Cleveland Browns punter Corey Bojorquez.

Like most special team’s players, the punter position is a position that is often overlooked however, Bojorquez has been solid after joining the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent. Since than Bojorquez who is of Mexican descent, has become one of the better punters in the NFL. His ability to flip field position, punt inside the 20 reliably, and occasionally boom one downfield keeps him relevant in tight games.

In his seventh NFL season last season, the Browns punter set a franchise record as well as career high with 36 punts pinned inside the 20 yard line while also averaging 49.3 yards per punt average.

10. Steve Avila

Team: Los Angeles Rams

Position: Offensive Lineman

Coming in at number 10 on the Top 10 Best NFL Latino Players 2025-2026 Rankings list is the Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Steve Avila.

Avila who has battled injuries since arriving in the NFL after the 2023 NFL Draft has showcased strong play at times when healthy and on the field for the Rams. Avila, with Mexican heritage, brings youth, versatility, and potential.

Whether lining up at guard or center, he’s shown toughness in the trenches, improved technique, and is rapidly gaining reputation as one of the more dependable young linemen in the league. The kind of player you want anchoring your interior for years

9. Elijah Arroyo

Team: Seattle Seahawks

Position: Tight End

After posting a strong final season with the Miami Hurricanes, Elijah Arroyo emerged as one of the top tight ends during the 2025 NFL Draft and one of the top Latino players in the draft.

The talented pass catching tight end caught the eye of the Seattle Seahawks who selected him with the 50th overall pick of the draft. Arroyo, who is of Mexican descent, posted 35 catches for 590 yards last season delivering the Seahawks a proven playmaker to help bolster the team’s offense.

While his NFL career is just starting the future looks bright for the talented Latino tight end as well as the team’s potential success in the NFC division.

8. Christian Gonzalez

Team: New England Patriots

Position: Cornerback

One of the young faces of the New England Patriots secondary, Christian Gonzalez continues to develop into an all-around solid cornerback.

While Gonzalez has missed each of the team’s first two games to start the 2025 NFL season, the talented Patriots cornerback, when healthy has displayed his physical presence playing against some of the top wide receivers in the NFL.  Over 16 games played last season, the former Oregon Ducks star posted 11 passes defended while also adding two interceptions, 59 tackles, and one fumble recovery.

Once healthy, Gonzalez is expected to return to the Patriots defense while delivering the team some much needed relief in the secondary.

7. Malcom Rodriguez

Team: Detroit Lions

Position: Linebacker

Despite being placed on the PUP list due to a knee injury, it is hard to look past the impact Malcom Rodriguez has among the Latino community as well as being one of the top Latino stars in the league.

After appearing in 33 games over his first two seasons, Rodriguez was limited to just 10 games last season however, the Lions third year star was putting together a strong season posting 43 tackles to goa long with two sacks and one forced fumble.

While the Lions wait for Rodriguez to return, his status as a solid linebacker in the league has been warranted since arriving in the league out of the Oklahoma State Cowboys back during the 2022 NFL Draft. Rodriguez, who is of mixed heritage, brings both a Mexican descent as well as Cherokee Indian history to the league.

6. Cesar Ruiz

Team: New Orleans Saints

Position: Offensive Guard

The impact of Latino players continues to help shape the diversity of the NFL and one of those players is the New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Cesar Ruiz.

As offensive linemen don’t get the recognition as the other offensive positions, Ruiz success and dominance on the field may go unnoticed. However, for Saints fans it is easy to understand and see the importance Ruiz brings to the team’s offensive line on each play.

Ruiz who is both of Puerto Rican and Dominican descent, is a big strong physical offensive lineman who has been solid since being selected 24th overall by the team during the 2020 NFL Draft after a strong collegiate career with the Michigan Wolverines.

5. Julian Love

Team: Seattle Seahawks

Position: Safety

Rounding out the Top 5 on the Top 10 Best NFL Latino Players 2025-2026 Rankings list is the third year Seattle Seahawks safety and former New York Giants star Julian Love. Born of Cuban & Mexican roots, Love has steadily grown into a centerpiece of Seattle’s secondary since arriving before the 2023 NFL season. In each of his last three seasons, Love has posted at least 100 tackles including a career high 124 back during the 2022 NFL season.

Over those three seasons leading into the current NFL schedule, Love also added five forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, nine interceptions, and 27 passes defended. Comfortable in coverage, fearless against the run, and now one of the leaders in the locker room, Love continues to leave a mark as one of the top Latino NFL players since arriving.

4. Isiah Pacheco

Team: Kansas City Chiefs

Position: Running back

The Kansas City Chiefs continue to be the team to beat in the AFC and one of the top teams in the NFL. With a loaded roster of talent, one player that has gone under the radar on the offensive side of the football is the former Rutgers Scarlett Knights running back Isiah Pacheco.

Pacheco how is of both Puerto Rican and Dominican descent as well as African American has showcased his potential as a dynamic weapon out of the back field for the Chiefs including playing a pivotal role in the team’s Super Bowl run back during the 2023 NFL season.

Over his first two seasons playing a combined 31 games, Pacheco racked up 1,765 rushing yards to go along with 12 rushing touchdowns while also added 374 receiving yards and two touchdown receptions. After appearing in just seven games last season, Pacheco is hoping to bounce back with another strong season during the 2025-2026 season.

3. Chris Olave

Team: New Orleans Saints

Position: Wide Receiver

Speed, route precision, and big-play potential are all Chris Olave’s calling cards while emerging as the New Orleans Saints number one target. Olave who is of Cuban heritage, has been electric in his first few seasons, especially when healthy as seen in his first two seasons to start his career.

After back-to-back thousand-yard seasons early on and despite injury setbacks in 2024, his upside remains sky high. Expectations are high entering season four for Olave who is looking to bounce back while delivering the team a weapon in the passing game.

Through his first 39 games of his career, the Saints receiver posted 2,565 yards to go along with four touchdown receptions.

2. Nik Bonitto

Team: Denver Broncos

Position: Linebacker

Entering his fourth season in the NFL, Nik Bonitto is continuing to develop into one of the best all-around linebackers in the NFL and one of the top Latino players in the game. Bonitto who is of Cuban descent, was selected by the Denver Broncos during the 2022 NFL draft. The fourth-year star put together a strong first season including finishing third in the NFL with 13.5 sacks during the 2024-2025 NFL Season.

The big season earned Bonitto his first Pro Bowl selection, a Second-Team All Pro selection as well as the largest non-quarterback contract in the Broncos team’s history. After a solid start to his rookie season, Bonitto has emerged as one of the best young linebackers in the NFL while posting 23 sacks over his first three season of this career.

Warner who is of Mexican & Panamanian heritage has emerged as one of the best defensive players in the NFL as well as one of the faces of the 49ers defense. Since being drafted back during the 2018 NFL Draft, Warner has been a force since posting at least 118 tackles in each of his first seven seasons including 131 tackles last season to go along with one sack, four forced fumbles, two interceptions, one defensive touchdown, and seven passes defended.

The strong play on the field year and year out has made Warner an elite defensive player while also earning top recognition awards including being selected to four First-Team All Pro teams and four Pro Bowl teams.

Latino players continue to make their presence felt across the NFL, excelling on the field and inspiring fans off it. These athletes proudly represent their cultural roots while showcasing the dedication and skill that make them stand out in America’s most popular sport.
