He was the WEC featherweight champion, and is also a two-time UFC featherweight champion, with 7 title defenses. Aldo made his bantamweight debut in 2019 and has won 3 out of his 5 fights in the division. He is currently on a 3 fight winning streak, defeating ranked opponents like Marlon vera, Pedro Munhoz, and Rob Font.

3. TJ Dillashaw

TJ Dillashaw is an American MMA fighter, who is recognized by many as one of the best bantamweights ever. He has a record of 17 wins and 4 losses and is also a former two-time UFC bantamweight champion.
However, his legacy was tainted when he tested positive for PEDs after which he served a two-year suspension. He came back last year and won his first fight against top contender Cory Sandhagan.

2. Petr Yan

Petr Yan is a Russian MMA fighter, with a record of 15 wins and 3 losses. He is the former UFC 135 pound champion, and until last weekend, also held the Interim title, which he lost in the unification bout against the champion.
Yan had some success on the feet, however, Aljamain Sterling was too much to handle on the ground. The fight went the distance, and Yan lost via Split decision. However, he believed that he should have one the fight and called for a rematch.

Aljamain Sterling is an American MMA fighter, with a record of 21 wins and 3 losses. He is the current UFC bantamweight champion, however, until last weekend, there was a little controversy about his status as the champ.
He won the title last year by disqualification when his opponent Petr Yan threw an illegal knee, however, last weekend, at UFC 273, he defeated Yan, who was now the interim champ, and solidified his position as the undisputed champion. Sterling won by split decision, after displaying grappling skills and having almost two complete rounds of ground control.
There is no announcement about his next fight, however, he did call out TJ Dillashaw after the fight.
