Matt Schnell

Organization: UFC

Matt Schnell is an American MMA fighter with a record of 15 wins and 6 losses. He is ranked #9 by the UFC, and though he doesn’t make our list, he deserves an honorable mention. 

Cody Garbrandt

Organization: UFC

Cody Garbrandt also had his last fight at flyweight, even though he lost. He deserves an honorable mention if he decides to stay at 125 lbs.

Top 10 Flyweights

10. Manel Kape

Organization: UFC

Starting off the list, at number 10 we have Manel Kape as an Angolan MMA fighter, and he has a professional record of 17 wins and 6 losses. 

He is the former Rizin bantamweight champion, and has 4 fights in the UFC, out of which he won two. In his most recent fight, he defeated Zhalgas Zhumagulov, and his next fight has not been announced yet.

9. David Dvořák

Organization: UFC

At number 9, we have a fighter from the Czech Republic. David Dvořák fights in the UFC Flyweight division. He has a record of 20 wins and 3 losses and is currently ranked at #10 by the official UFC rankings. 

David Dvořák has had only 3 fights in the UFC, all of which he has won. He is on a 16 fight winning streak and defeated Juancamilo Ronderos in his most recent fight. 

He is scheduled to fight #8 ranked flyweight contender Matheus Nicolau next.

8. Matheus Nicolau

Organization: UFC

Matheus Nicolau is a Brazilian fighter with a record of 19 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw. He is currently ranked number 8 by the official UFC flyweight rankings. 

He competed in the UFC between 2015 and 2018, and after having a couple of fights outside the company, he came back in 2021 and has won two consecutive fights since. 

He defeated Tim Elliott in his most recent fight, and his next fight is scheduled against David Dvořák on the 26th of March.

7. Brandon Royval

Organization: UFC

Coming in at number 7, Brandon Royval is another American MMA fighter, competing in the flyweight division of the UFC. He has a professional record of 13 wins and 6 losses and is ranked #4 by the official UFC rankings. 

Brandon Royval has notable wins over Kai Kara-France and Tim Elliot. He also defeated Rogério Bontorin in his most recent fight, which happened earlier this month. 

As of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight.

6. Alex Perez

Organization: UFC

Alex Perez is an American MMA fighter, with a professional record of 24 wins and 6 losses. 

Perez is ranked at number 4 by the official UFC rankings, and he has notable wins over Jussier Formiga and Jordan Espinosa. In his most recent fight, he lost to Deiveson Figueiredo. 

For his next fight, Alex Perez is scheduled to fight Matt Schnell on the 12th of February.

5. Kai Kara-France

Organization: UFC

At number 5, we have Kai Kara-France from New Zealand, and he has a professional MMA record of 23 wins, 9 losses, and 1 no contest. 

Kai Kara-France is ranked #6 in the official UFC rankings, and the most notable win came in his last fight against former bantamweight champion Cody Gardbrandt. 

For his next fight, Kai Kara-France is scheduled to fight Askar Askarov on March 26th.

4. Alexandre Pantoja

Organization: UFC

Alexandre Pantoja is a Brazilian MMA fighter and has a professional record of 24 wins and 5 losses. He is ranked number 3 by the official UFC rankings. 

Alexandre Pantoja has won 8 out of his 11 fights in the UFC and has wins over fighters like Brandon Moreno, Manel Kape, and Wilson Reis. he defeated Brandon Royal via Submission in his most recent fight. 

As of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight. 

3. Askar Askarov

Organization: UFC

At number 3, we have Askar Askarov. The Russian MMA fighter has an undefeated MMA record with 14 wins and 1 draw. 

Askarov has won all four of his fights in the UFC, and in his most recent fight, he defeated Joseph Benavidez via unanimous decision. He also has notable wins over Alexandre Pantoja and Tion Elliot in the UFC. 

For his next fight, Askarov is scheduled to fight Kai Kara-France on the 26th of March.

2. Brandon Moreno

Organization: UFC

Brandon Moreno is a Mexican MMA fighter, and he has a professional MMA record of 19 wins 6 losses, and 2 draws. He is ranked #1 in the official UFC Flyweight rankings. 

Moreno is the Former UFC flyweight champion and won the title after defeating Deiveson Figueiredo. However, last weekend, in a rematch, he lost the title to Figueiredo. He had a decent performance, but could not keep up with Figueiredo, losing the fight via a unanimous decision.  Moreno has notable wins over Kai Kara-France, and Jussier Formiga as well. 

As of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight.

1. Deiveson Figueiredo

Deiveson Figueiredo is a professional MMA fighter from Brazil, who competes in the UFC. he has a record of 24 wins and 2 losses. 

Figueiredo is a two-time world flyweight champion and has wins over Alexandre Pantoja, Joseph Benavidez, Alex Perez, and in his most recent fight Brandon Moreno. The fight happened last weekend and was competitive. However, Figueiredo managed to stay ahead on the scorecards and won via Unanimous Decision. 

His next fight has not been announced yet.
