Eva Wahlström

Eva Wahlström is a former professional boxer with a record of 23 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws. She is the former WBC female super-featherweight champion, however, since she confirmed her retirement, she is not in our rankings. Still, she deserves an honorable mention.

Top 10 Female Super Featherweight Boxers

10. Helen Joseph

Helen Joseph is a Nigerian professional boxer with a record of 17 wins and 5 losses. She is currently ranked #10 by BoxRec. 

Joseph has challenged for the IBF featherweight title twice but lost both times. She is the former IBF Intercontinental female featherweight champion. In her most recent fight, she lost to Mikaela Mayer and hasn’t fought for more than a year since. There is no announcement about her next fight either.

9. Elhem Mekhaled

Elhem Mekhaled is a French professional boxer with an undefeated professional record of 14 wins and no losses.

She is the former European female super-featherweight champion, and also briefly held the  WBC interim female super-featherweight title in 2019. In her most recent fight, she defeated Karina Kopinska and her next fight has not been announced yet.

8. Fatuma Zarika

Fatuma Zarika is a Kenyan professional boxer with a professional record of 33 wins and 13 losses with 2 draws. 

She is the former WBC female super-bantamweight world champion and in her most recent fight, she won the vacant WBF female super-featherweight title as well. She won the title after defeating Patience Mastara, and as of now, there is no official announcement about when she will fight next.

7. Ewa Brodnicka

Fighting out of Poland, Ewa Brodnicka is a professional boxer with a record of 20 wins and only 1 defeat. She is currently ranked #5 by The Ring and #7 by BoxRec.

Ewa Brodnicki is the former WBO female junior lightweight champion and had 6 successful title defenses. In her most recent fight, she defeated Milena Koleva, and her next fight has not been announced yet.

6. Maïva Hamadouche

Maïva Hamadouche is a professional boxer, and Police officer from France, and she has a boxing record of 22 wins and only 2 losses. 

She is currently ranked #3 by The Ring and #4 by BoxRec, and she is the former IBF female super-featherweight champion. She lost her most recent fight against Mikaela Mayer, and her next fight has not been announced yet.

5. Choi Hyun-mi

She is the current WBA female super-featherweight world champion and has defended the title 9 times. She is also the former WBA female featherweight world champion and defended that title 7 times before moving up to super-featherweight. 

In her most recent fight, she defeated Calista Salgado and her next fight has not been announced yet.

4. Terri Harper

Terri Harper is a British professional boxer with a record of 12 wins and 1 loss. She is ranked #2 by BoxRec and The Ring.

Harper is the former Unified WBC and IBO Female super-featherweight champion. She defended her titles multiple times before losing them to Alycia Baumgardner. In her most recent fight, she defeated Yamila Belen Abellaneda to become the WBA intercontinental lightweight champion. There is no official announcement about her next fight yet.

3. Delfine Persoon

Delfine Persoon is a Belgian professional boxer with a record of 45 wins and only 3 losses.

She is the former IBF and WBC female lightweight champion and has also held the WBA interim female super-featherweight title. In her most recent fight, she defeated Beatriz Aguilar and her next fight has not been announced yet.

2. Alycia Baumgardner

Alycia Baumgardner is an American professional boxer with a record of 11 wins and only 1 loss.

She is the current unified WBC and IBO female super featherweight world champion and won the titles back in November 2021 against Teri Harper.

Though there is no announcement about her next fight yet, she is on a 6 fight winning streak after defeating Edith Soledad Matthysse and could find herself facing Mikaela Mayer for the undisputed title.

Mikaela Mayer is an American professional boxer, with an undefeated record of 17 wins and no losses. 

She is the current unified WBO, IBF, The Ring female super featherweight champion is also ranked #1 by The Ring, and #3 by BoxRec. Her most recent fight was last weekend when she defended her titles against Jennifer Han in a dominant performance, which resulted in a Unanimous decision win for Mayor. 

Her next fight has not been announced yet, however, she has expressed that she wants to fight for the undisputed title.
