10. Michael Porter Jr., Denver Nuggets 

MPJ is playing in his 2nd year in the league is already living up to the expectations and giving consistent performances which is helping the Denver Nuggets win games consistently. The Nuggets are currently on an 8 game win streak and are getting a lot of help from MPJ who has improved to 18 PPG from 9 PPG in his rookie season. His length and athleticism also makes him this good at his position. 

 

9. Bojan Bogdanovic, Utah Jazz

Bojan, a Croation player that is an important part of Utah Jazz who is currently holding the league best record with only 14 losses. He is a versatile small forward with good basketball IQ, plus his ability to shoot efficiently and effectively to make plays for others makes him a special piece of a great team. 

 

8. Gordon Hayward, Charlotte Hornets

Gordon is one the most underrated playmakers and a versatile player in the league who doesn’t put up big numbers but can lead the team to wins consistently. Formerly an All Star in Utah who is currently playing for the Charlotte Hornets is leading them to a winning record and 4th seed in the East. Although he is injury prone yet still a valuable asset to any team. 

 

7. Brandon Ingram, New Orleans Pelicans 

At only 23 years of age Ingram is one of the most talented stars in the making. Already an All Star and Most Improved Player of the year, he’s developing into a great versatile player who can perform in clutch moments. He can lead the team to wins with his performance, he’s consistent and his impressive performances makes him one of the best SFs in the league. 

 

6. Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks

Khris is an underrated piece to a championship contending team in Milwaukee. This two time All Star is one of most efficient scorers in the league and he’s a great fit to the team led by Giannis who needs playmakers, shooters and scorers around him. Khris has all the elements required to be a great forward in this game.

5. Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics 

Another young Super star in the making, at 23 years old he’s already been selected as an All Star twice, and has led his team to the conference finals. He’s definitely one of the most clutch players in the league, he has barely ever missed in clutch situations and that includes playoff games. His wide range of a skill set and efficient scoring makes him so great in this game. He’s easily a top 5 SF currently. 

 

4. Jimmy Butler, Miami Heat 

Jimmy Buckets is an underrated MVP candidate this season and we all know what he’s doing for the Heat. He’s one of the toughest players in the league and someone who can single handedly pull the team out of mud. Last year’s playoffs are proof of his toughness playing 47 minutes a night and taking the series to 6 games with his top teammates injured. He is a complete player who can do it all and can also have his presence felt defensively.

 

3. Kawhi Leonard, Los Angeles Clippers 

Kawhi Leonard is an established Super star in the NBA, 2 time NBA champion, 2 time finals MVP, 2 time DPOY, defensively the most feared man in the league and one of the most efficient scorers in the league. His playoff run in Toronto solidified his greatness as a clutch player who can win games consistently in any situation. Kawhi has a lot to prove this year after last year’s performance in the playoffs. Hopefully he’ll be able to take them further this season.

 

2. Kevin Durant, Brooklyn Nets 

Kevin Durant has to be in the top 2 of this list without a debate. He’s an 11 time All Star and 2 time NBA Champion. He’s a 4 time scoring champion, which is an exceptional feat considering his super thin and 7 foot tall frame. His ability to shoot from any distance and above anyone makes him an unstoppable force on offense. 

 

1. LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers 

King James is not only the best SF in the game but also the best player even at 36 years of age. James has been to the finals 10 times and has won 4 times including coming back from 1-3 down in the Finals to the historic Golden State Warriors team in 2016. He is easily the most versatile player in the history of the NBA who could play and defend every position. He’s called “King” for a reason.
