Jadon Sancho returned from injury to help Borussia Dortmund qualify for the Champions League.

The Englishman has been a key player for BVB since he moved there from Manchester City.

This was a turbulent season for them in the Bundesliga, and he started it poorly.

He was the subject of interest from Manchester United in the summer and that seemed to have affected his start to the campaign.

He was set for perhaps his poorest stint for them since he joined, and his poor form is one reason why they fired Lucien Favre as their manager.

However, he returned to form at the best time of the season for them, just before the Bundesliga finished.

He helped them to win the German Cup and to earn some outrageous victories on their way to finishing inside the top four.

Sancho returned for their last six games of the season and they won all of them.

He provided two assists in their 5-0 win over Holstein Kiel in the German Cup semifinals.

He then scored two goals in their 3-2 win over RB Leipzig in the next game. He scored twice and provided an assist as they beat the same opponent in the final of the German Cup.

He wrapped up the season with two assists in their last league game of the campaign, a 3-1 win at Mainz.

The likes of Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane have continued scoring, but Sancho is our top star for the week.
