The likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Bruno Fernandes have led the way for midfielders around the world for a long time now. The likes of Andy Delort at Montpellier and Hakan Calhanoglu of AC Milan have also been in fine form this season. Bruno Fernandes is our midfielder of the week as he continues to show incredible footballing ability at Manchester United. The Portuguese midfielder played the entirety of the game as Manchester United beat Everton in the Carabao Cup this week. He didn’t score a goal in that game, but he was instrumental as the Red Devils earned the win, eventually.

At the weekend, he scored twice and provided an assist as Manchester United beat Leeds United 6-2 in the Premier League. His recent form is just part of a fine season that has seen him score 9 goals and provided 5 assists in 13 league games this season. He also got 4 goals in 6 Champions League games before they exited the competition.
