1. Katie Taylor

Title(s):

  • WBA Lightweight World Champion

  • WBC Lightweight World Champion

  • WBO Lightweight World Champion

  • IBF Lightweight World Champion

  • The Ring Lightweight World Champion

At the top of our list, we have Katie Taylor from Ireland. She has a professional record of 20 wins and 0 losses, is an Olympic gold medalist and is the current undisputed women’s lightweight champion of the world as well.

In her most recent fight, she defended her titles against Pound for Pound ranked and unified WBC, WBO, and IBO Featherweight champion Amanda Serrano making this one of the biggest fights in women’s boxing history.

Katie Taylor looked to be down the first half of the fight even being rocked in the 5th round. She was able to overcome Serrano’s power in the second half of the fight being the superior technician in the ring that she is.

This was an exciting fright from beginning to end. Katie Taylor defeated Amanda Serrano via split decision in a close fight. No announcement on her next fight but would not surprised if there was a Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano 2.
