Honorable Mention

Michael Conlan

First up in our honorable mentions, Michael Conlan is a professional boxer from Ireland, with a professional record of 16 and 1 loss. As an amateur, he won a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics and is the former WBA Interim Featherweight Champion.

Eduardo Ramirez

Eduardo Ramirez also deserves an honorable mention. He is from Mexico and has a professional record of  26 wins, 2 losses, 3 draws, and 1 no-contest. He is also the former WBA Interim Featherweight Champion.

Tugstsogt Nyambayar

The next boxer in our honorable mentions is Tugstsogt Nyambayar from Mongolia, and he has a professional boxing record of 12 wins and 2 losses, and 1 draw. Nyambayar is the former IBO Featherweight Champion, and As an amateur, he also won a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics.

10. Xu Can

Xu Can is a professional boxer from China, and he has a professional record of 18 wins and 3 losses. He is also ranked #10 by The Ring

Xu Can is the former WBA (Regular) Featherweight Champion, and he had the Title since 2019, however, in his most recent fight, he lost the Title to Leigh Wood. 

As of now, there is no official announcement about his next fight.

9. Leo Santa Cruz

Title(s):

  • WBA Featherweight World Super Champion

At number 9, Leo Santa Cruz is a Mexican professional boxer with a record of 38 wins and 2 losses, and 1 draw. He is ranked #2 by BoxRec

Leo Santa Cruz has held world Titles in four different weight classes. He previously held the IBF bantamweight Title and WBC super bantamweight Title. He is also the former WBA (super) super-Featherweight and the current WBA (super) Featherweight Champion, however, he hasn’t defended his Featherweight Title since 2019. 

In his most recent fight, he defeated Keenan Carbajal and his next fight has not been announced yet.

8. Kid Galahad

Kid Galahad is a very popular British professional boxer, and currently, he holds a record of 28 wins and 2 losses 

Most notably, He has held the European, British, and Commonwealth super-bantamweight Titles between 2013 and 2015. He now fights at Featherweight where he became the IBF Featherweight world Champion after defeating Jazza Dickens.

In his most recent fight, he lost the Title to Kiko Martínez and his next fight has not been announced yet.

7. Gary Russell Jr.

Gary Russell Jr is an American boxer with a professional record of 31 wins and 2 losses. He is currently ranked #4 by BoxRec and TBRB, and 6th by The Ring. 

Gary Russell is the former WBC Featherweight world Champion, and he remained the Champion for almost 5 years, with 5 title defenses. In his most recent fight, Russell lost his Title to Mark Magsayo, and there is no announcement about his next fight yet.

6. Leigh Wood

  • WBA Featherweight World Champion

Leigh Wood makes it in our list at number 6. The British professional boxer has a record of 26 wins and 2 losses. He is also ranked #6 by Box Rec, and #7 by The Ring. 

Leigh Wood is the current WBA (Regular) Featherweight Champion and won the Title after defeating Xu Can. At the regional level, he has also the British and Commonwealth Featherweight Titles

In his most recent fight, which was earlier this month, he defeated Michael Conlan via TKO, and there is no announcement about his next fight yet.

5. Kiko Martínez

At number 5, we have Kiko Martinez from Spain, a professional boxer with a record of 43 wins, 11 losses, and 1 draw. 

Martinez has won world Titles in two different divisions. He is a former IBF super-bantamweight Champion and, as of last weekend, the former IBF Featherweight Champion. 

Last Saturday, he lost the title to Josh Warrington, after a very difficult fight, which Warrington dominated for 6 rounds, before winning via KO in the seventh.

4. Josh Warrington

Title(s):

  • IBF Featherweight World Champion

Josh Warrington is an English professional boxer with a record of 31 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw.  He is ranked #4 by The Ring and #6 by TBRB. 

Warrington is a two-time IBF Featherweight world Champion. He previously held the Title from 2018 to January of 2021 and regained the Title last weekend after defeating Kiko Martínez. 

Warrington dropped Martinez in the first round, and kept him on the back foot, eventually winning by KO in the seventh to regain the IBF title.

3. Mauricio Lara

Mauricio Lara is a Mexican professional boxer with a record of 24 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw, and 1 no-contest. He is ranked #1 by TBRB and #3 by The Ring. 

Though Lara hasn’t held a world Title yet, he made it into the rankings after defeating Josh Warrington. He then had a rematch against Warrington, which ended in a technical draw, after the fight had to be stopped because of an accidental head clash that cut open Lara’s head. 

He defeated Emilio Sanchez via third-round KO in his most recent fight, and there is no announcement about his next fight yet.

2. Mark Magsayo

Title(s):

  • WBC Featherweight World Champion

Magsayo is a Filipino professional boxer with an undefeated professional record of 24 wins and no losses. He is ranked #3 by BoxRec and TBRB, and #2 by The Ring. 

Magsayo is the current WBC Featherweight world Champion and won the title in his most recent fight against Gary Russell Junior. He is also a 2-time WBO International Featherweight Champion.

For his next fight, Magsayo is set to defend his Title against Rey Vargas on July 9, 2022.

1. Emanuel Navarrete

  • WBO Featherweight World Champion

Emanuel Navarrete is a Mexican professional boxer with a record of 35 wins and one loss. He is currently ranked #1 by BoxRec and The Ring, and #2 by TBRB. 

Navarrete has held Titles in two different weight classes. He is the current WBO Featherweight Champion and also held the WBO Junior Featherweight Title from 2018 to 2020 with 5 Title defenses. 

In his most recent fight, he defended his title for the second time defeating Joet Gonzalez, and his next fight has not been announced yet.
